A Moogle Kupo d’Etat – Evil in Small Doses

Beginning on July 5, 2009, “A Moogle Kupo d’Etat – Evil in Small Doses” will be available for pre-purchase and download for £7.99 in the UK and €9.99 in the rest of Europe via the PlayOnline Viewer. Slated to launch at the end of July following the next Final Fantasy XI version update, players whose in-game character’s main job level is at least 10 can begin to enjoy this new content. Introducing a brand-new story arc, this new scenario requires the installation of Rise of Zilart, the first expansion pack in the Final Fantasy XI series.

The development of these add-on scenarios, including the already launched “A Crystalline Prophecy - Ode of Life Bestowing” and the upcoming third and final scenario – “A Shantotto Ascension – The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born” – is led by Masato Kato, who created the stories and scenarios for Final Fantasy XI, and its first expansion pack, Rise of Zilart. With the summer release of this second scenario, “A Moogle Kupo d’Etat – Evil in Small Doses”, players will delve into a dark mystery set in motion by a single drop of water.

Story

It all started with an innocent drop of rainwater and a rickety, ramshackle Mog House desperately in need of repair.  Little did anyone suspect that this would be the beginning of a harrowing nightmare unheard of in the annals of moogle-kind.

Can make a sexy RNG head piece with some of the augments.

But I refuse to pay for a piece of armor under the guise of a minimal addition to storyline and content.

at $10.00 a pop it hardly work it, well debating the mage head peice which does have nice stats.

30.00 total+ for the 3 parts (the next is to be 12.99 not 9.99) is a bit step for 3 items that don't even amount to a full expansion and each part can be completed in 1 day. That's more expensive then the value of the entire box set. All for mediocre improvements or in some jobs, some effects at particular times that will nto be used all the time.

Well, actually, ya gotta realize along with the last add-on came those key item keys  ,Virdian Key, Vermilion Key, Ebony Key , etc....

Which can be use for  that Tenshodo Coffer for a random, Aug/Ex item or other items, once a day.

Heck, even including Utsusemi : NI from the seedspall rare/exe item key (Vermillion Key I think, either that or the Viridian, but I think that the Viridian is the Goblin Key item Seedspalls).


I wonder what kind of Aug/ex and other item potentials will come with Kupo de-blablah?

* Only one of these items may be possessed at any given time
* You may reacquire the equipment as many times as you like by dscarding the orginal item, and once again completeing the necessary objectives
* The purchase of a single registration code for a given account will allow you to play 'A Moogle Kupo d'Etat' with all characters created on that account

It will be available for play with the update later this month. That date has not yet been announced, as I know of.
