Now I have the time to post what I did this weekend.
Friday night: played some Ghostbusters and filled my Zune up with music and movies.

Saturday: Anne had to bake a cake so I played more Ghostbusters on the 360 and then some Afro Samurai on the PS3, was not impressed with that game. the wife and I watched the last two Harry Potters in Blu-ray and then I watched the forst two "When we left Earth" Blu-ray discs.

Sunday: no gaming, we had a BBQ at an in-laws house.

I am not going to be gaming at all the next weekend, except for maybe a little WoW, we will be in the White Mountains of New Hampshire from Friday to Monday.

Gaming wise I've been playing Red Faction. I'm loving it a lot, mainly the destructible buildings.

Non Gaming wise I just went to work on Sunday. On Friday I applied with the FAA as an Air Traffic Control Specialist Trainee, I'll find out in Aug. or Sept. if I got the job.

Not much gaming this weekend. I played a bit of 1 vs 100 and tried out the Sam and Max trial in the Arcade. It's fun, but $20 is a bit high for an Arcade game. Only played an hour or so of CoD. I think I need to pick up a new game.
Non-gaming, I gleefully watched the Cardinals sweep the Royals. Ludwick and Pujols both hit Grand slams. We had a Father's Day dinner yesterday for my brothers and of course we all ate too much food.

You gotta pay the troll toll.

I had a decent weekend. I had more free time this weekend than i have for a couple of months. When it comes to the new house, it feels like we are coming down the home stretch and we plan on spending our first night in the house next weekend, so that is nice. Most of my down time this weekend was spent either taking in some baseball, or catching up on some tv with just a little bit of video games thrown in. On Saturday, I went through some of my demos and enjoyed just about everything I played, including The Maw, Castle Crashers, Fight Night Rd. 4, and The Bigs 2. I also played a couple of games of Cataan (such a great go-to game for me) and Texas Hold 'Em before passing out. I spent yesterday split between spending time with family (including my dad and grandfather) and shoping for more house stuff. When I did get home, I watched some tv with the wife and daughter, and video chatted on live with my brother (celebrating his first fathers day) and nephew. After all that, I finally got to spend time with my fathers day present, Red Faction: Guerilla. So far so good, and I really want to make some time with it. It's kind of strange playing a new game again after relying on oldies for so long and to actually have an opinion on something when listening to podcasts.
When I die, I want to go like grandpa, peacefully while I'm asleep. Not screaming like the other people in his car.

Played a ton of TF2 and just relaxed. Ive got 2 more months of this ahead of me ;).

BTW, if you guys haven't checked out Talkradar yet, rlly do, its hilarious. Its still kindof  a niche podcast, but slightly informative aswell. Plus Dan makes surprise appearances all the time.

Gaming: Playing a ton of SFIV.  I have been getting better slowly, but at least it is some improvement.  I'm sitting around 1000BP and I have had some really good matches.  Then I'll go on a cold streak because I do some really stupid stuff.  Besides that, I have been playing the usual, CoD4 Headquarters.  Level 41 on my 8th prestige.

Non-gaming: Wife and I took the kids, and others in my family to Indiana Beach.  We had a great time.

it is a great podcast, my zune decided to deny me my DRM rights so I ended up listening to a bunch of podcasts. That on as well as Three red lights are now my third and fourth podcasts that I listen to, after PC Gamer and OXM.

If you like TRL you will probably also enjoy Game Scoop and (for the PS3) Podcast Beyond. Greg Miller is very funny, and being a PS3 writer, always defensive. Last weeks Talk Radar almost made me hurt myself I was laughing so hard. Their "Dozens console war" was so funny, I wasn't paying attention at work and ran into a machine. I also cant recomend enough, the Adam Carolla podcast for your non-gaming entertainment. Lots of great guests and interresting interviews. If you have ever liked Adam on Loveline, his morning radio show, The Man Show, or any of his other forays into tv and movies, try it out.

If you are looking for a laugh TDar is the place to go. Chris Antista really should have looked into a career as a comedian  and he seems to pour his heart and soul into the podcast, much like Ryan does for KOXM. The podcasts may be two or three hours long, but it will just FLY BY. These guys are funny unintentionally, cynical, and do it with a humbleness that many radio personalities could not mimic. I cannot reccomend it more.

Went to visit family and picked up my review copy of "Vertigo" for the Wii. I played Ghostbusters (Wii) a  lot. Played stardust and megaman 9 on my PS3 and dusted off beautiful katamari. I also saw Transformers 2 and Year One with my brother. I also got to eat at re robin W00t!
