For once I did some gaming for fun this weekend. Magic: the Gathering XBLA, Ghostbusters, Rock Band 2 (Spinal Tap DLC), and World of Warcraft. I'm inching my way to 80 with my rogue...

Went to visit family and picked up my review copy of "Vertigo" for the Wii. I played Ghostbusters (Wii) a  lot. Played stardust and megaman 9 on my PS3 and dusted off beautiful katamari. I also saw Transformers 2 and Year One with my brother. I also got to eat at red robin W00t!

This weekend I played some more Prototype and more UFC. Ive already beaten the story for Prototype and now im just trying to collect all the orbs and trying to find the rest of the people for the Web of Intrigue. In UFC im going through career again as a lightweight and im finding that ive been able to improve my character a lot quicker the second time around. I also saw Transformers at the midnight showing on Tuesday night and thought it was good but not as good as the first one. I laughed a little to loud when the movie decided to do a crossover with the Neverending Story...it was just so dumb. The movie was a tad long to, just a tad...

Friday Morning, waiting for our ride to show up, I played a little TDU. We were in New Hampshire and the White Mountains that night. The only gaming I did the whole weekend was a little Left 4 Dead on Sunday night. Spent the weekend swimming. I did get a round of golf in on Sunday afternoon. ended with my score in the low 400's. I play golf to have fun, not make par.

I've played a bit more Red Faction, I'm in the third town now. Also tried out some of the multiplayer, great fun. I watched a little bit of TV over the weekend, catching up on the last season of The Office and the last few episodes of The Soup. I just remembered that I have Role Models at home that I need to watch and send back. Also watched alot of baseball and even (accidentally) watched a bit of soccer. We had record breaking temperatures where I live over the weekend and it hasn't really cooled down, so I am staying inside as much as I can. Still have a bit of work to do on the house and I am debating weather I want to spend my long weekend working or not.

When I die, I want to go like grandpa, peacefully while I'm asleep. Not screaming like the other people in his car.

Blood Bowl and Battlefield Heroes! I've been playing PC games almost exclusively for the last little while, and Blood Bowl is friggin' awesome. Turn based football in the Warhammer universe? Eff yeah. But it's not nearly that simple. It's ruthlessly challenging for newbies, but is still really, really enjoyable. I don't like Warhammer, turn based games, or football, but Blood Bowl is a rad strategy game that I'll be playing for a while. There's so much to it.

Battlefield Heroes is open now. :) You can play it! Do so! It's free Battlefield. I spent 20 bucks on credits to buy stuff to A) buy stuff and B) support those guys. GOOD STUFF!

I finally beat Call of Duty:World at War on vet. Son of a cat, that game ticked me off something awful. Now all I need is the Blue Ribbon achievement, and I have my thousand. Played some relaxing Viva Pinata. Stared longinly at Ghostbusters, but still haven't put it in the drive yet.

Sunday, spent time with the family at a birthday party. Cupcakes, ice cream and a rowboat on a little pond. Life is good.

If you can read this, thank a teacher.
