Apparently EA is kind of splitting NFS up into more arcade and more sim. Shift will be more sim, and Nitro will be more arcade/casual.
I don't know if the Criterion NFS will be the next installment of the arcade product line, but it could be something simillar to Call of Duty, where the titles alternate between Treyarch and Infinity Ward.
Either way, until we get some more info on the title and everything, it's hard to say whether it'll be good for NFS fans, good for Burnout fans, or good for either.
