@ everyone who plays as Algol
Why do you feel compelled to spam your balls?  at the beginning of each match, the person playing as Algol gets as far away from me as possible, and starts spamming their balls over at me. I simply block their balls, but the game itself becomes a fight of surviving those balls. That's right folks, if you can manage to take hits from Algol's balls for a full 5 minutes, you win, even if you're KO'd. This goes out to all the players that play as Algol, simply to spam their balls over to me. You can take your balls, and shove em! Your cheap ball spamming attack will not make me give up!

I'm sure if you sucked Algol's balls it would be an instant KO.

I played a guy who was Algol that only used the Y button. He gave me 3 Achievements. Guard 1,000 attacks, Battle 20 different styles online, and Win consecutively Ranked.

Re: @ everyone who plays as Algol
Sure the pingpong game can be fun but I think the original point of this thread was that it rather dull playing against an Algol who thinks it fun to repetitively lob bubbles at you. I don't aprove of Namco's decision to have projestiles of any sort in SC. Yet saddly I was not asked for my approval :( I dont like the flying, teleporting, levitating, shooting, or invisible parts of the game but I suppose we will have to deal with it to get our play time in.

Insert comment about dry balls lol.

Anyway it's not as bad offline, lag really helps the bubble spam prosper and be effective.  He has really bad matchups against the top 3-4 characters as well, as they all have good tools to get around/under/through bubbles.  Kilik and Amy especially give him problems.

He has more tools outside of bubbles, his standard B,B is one of the best in the game, and his 1B is a great tech crouch and whiff punisher into a combo.  Yes, a combo with bubbles lol.  But in general he suffers in close with or without bubbles, and his sidestep is the worst in the game.  Well, except for Yoda, but he's Yoda.

What? Hell maybe that's my problem, I've been using Yoda all along.

Juts look at who's number 1 on the leaderboards for standard versus level. Biggest bubble spammer ever. Only 8 losses.

Lmao......I'm sorry man but couldn't you have used the word "orbs" or even "spheres"?

But seriously, Namco has a history of cheap bosses with spamming moves which people take advantage of to earn a cheap win.
Just shows they really have no skill in my book.

Well I figured that. It's quite sad to see someone take so much pride out of cheating.

That's just really sad. I doubt he's even beaten half of those people w/o quitting. I've played against you before. I believe you were Siegfried. And I could totally see you beating him under any circumstances. You really need speed to overtake him or any bubble spammer.
