Discs Question

Does downloading all the discs of lost Odyessy to the hard drive improve load times, keep it the same or make it worse? just asking before I get the game as I hate it when the disc turns in the tray, too loud for my likes.

No problem and test it after you install the game.

I only have about 10GB of space on my 20GB HD, will it be impossible to install this game to my HD? This game had better be huge, like more than Fallout 3 and Oblivion combined, to warrant so much data.
Why won't you let me list my 100% achievement games, why Microsoft? Do you not care about our nerdy egos?

I own this game and am yet to play it. If what you said above is helpful, am I to assume that this game is NOT a free-roam or explorable world? Such as in Mass Effect or Oblivion of Fallout 3? I actually prefer being able to visit places I have been before, but not if I have to change discs. What I am basically asking is: In this game is it a forward progression from disc 1 through 4 with no going back?

You really dont need to go back to discs 1-3 as they are plot and story but at disc 4 there are free roam side quests and such to do and its the longest disc.

the game becomes fully open world at about midway through disc 3 when you get the airship and can go anywhere at anytime, up until that you have basic modes of transport that can go to some areas but not others, and yet other parts of the game you may be stuck on an island untill you progress through that story section.

Pretty standard JRPG kinda exploration, you can go back to places you have been before without ever having to change discs, but for the most part, there isnt really a need to, for example, the items you can buy at the store in the first city of disc one are the same items you can buy there if you go back in disc 4
