Watch when your playing the game that you quit by exiting to the main menu after you started playing a new episode after the one you beat... start the level and die even then quit and exit
the game will say saving
if you finish say 4 episodes in a row sometimes and don't exit properly (turn off your system etc) lag out freezing ..
you wont have anything saved and youll be more p'ed off having to do it all over again!

That's not what he's talking about. This game does have saving problems. You can beat an episode and not have it save if you exit to your dashboard without first quitting to the main menu of n+. However, even if you quit to the main menu, it doesn't guarantee your progress will be saved. I think the safest way is to quit to the main menu after every episode you beat. I suspect that doing multiple episodes in a row is asking for trouble, even if you quit to the main menu afterwards. Just the other night I did 7 of the level pack 3 coop episodes with my friend. Afterwards I quit to the main menu. Sure enough, not a single one of my times/episodes was saved and levels I had just completed were still locked. It's quite frustrating and it would be nice if a patch was released to fix it. Sadly I don't think that will ever happen :(

This is actually the reason why I started looking on these forms today....
This happens to me all the time.
When I try to play an episode there are gaps of 3 or 4 episodes that it says i didnt do even though i did.

I now have to re-do about 8 chapters...  If it was not for the saving malfunctions this game is extremely fun.  If I knew i would have to re-do all of the levels at least twice I don't know if I would have DL'ed it.  But hell it was just 5$ I'm still glad i did, just feel like b*****ing cause I'm pissed

You might not know this one, but if you are doing co op lvls and you make it a private game, it will not save properly. (So if doing co op make it a public game and then invite friends) Also if you leave after an episode, DON'T turn off your xbox or go to the dashboard without leaving to the main menu first. People's single player lvls tend to not save if you do this.

I just beat episode 10 through 17 straight on SP by myself.  I exited through the menu, etc.  Then I go back to check without turning off the game.  Episodes 10-14 aren't beat, but 15  - 17 are.  What the heck?  This is the 5th time 10 - 14 won't save.  I'm really angry that a game I paid 800 points for can't even function properly. After spending 3 hours trying to beat Master Control (God awful level) It didn't even save it, but it saved the episodes after it.  So.... what in the world is going on?

Quit to the main menu after every episode and you should be fine.

What you could do is skip those episodes and come back to them later, OR (and this seems to help a lot of people out) after you beat a single episode, exit to the main menu and that episode should be saved and then continue to the next episode and repeat. Sometimes it won't save if you continue straight trough some episodes for some reason.

With how simple this game is you think SAVING could be done properly.

Yeah, as a flash programmer, I figure simply saving a few variables on an xbox can't be horridly complicated.  I mean jeez.

Yeah and this game was actually their first time making a 360 game (from what I've heard). It's not like they've been doing this for years so I give them a break. Just bear with the problems and just try to enjoy this amazing game. ^__^

I had this problem once, but lucky me it was towards the beginning of when I started playing the game. I always just made sure I had it saved I guess, not sure how.

My Co-op levels don't save. Ive done the first 8 like 10 times now, didn't get the achievement for doing them or the save.

In addition to what is already discussed above, I also keep getting an error that it can't save "because the storage device was removed or xbox live is down" when neither of those is true. Too bad it's so buggy, it's a good game otherwise. The fact that they haven't patched this stuff is highly dissapointing though.

I deleted the game and downloaded it again and it seems to have fixed it.
