Stuck on the last bosses with hardly any healing...

I am playing on acolyte and I am at that save point in front of the big door with the shop and all. Thing is only healing I have is that thing the old man gave me to fill my health once. I also have no essence to buy anymore items.

Anyone have any tips for me? Which of the 3 I should use my heal on? And if it is even possible to finish the game at this point?

How can you have no essence at that point on Acolyte? Have you been that wastefull?
Still, once you get past Dagra Dai you should be ok. You need not take a scratch on the first form (dash-jump arrow) and just tkeep pounding on the archfiend with the Scythe (jump XXYY)

Once I jumped in the air and missed, I landed on the floor and fell off..

Yeah, prob could say I am wasteful, I never have essence and I used a lot of healing items.

Not too great at the game. haha

But I got it eventually, after some trial and error. Lots of it.

Sounds like he/she ran by most everything and didn't UT much at all. You can fully upgrade every weapon and be as greedy as you want with spamming ninpo and have loads of essence left....

To the OP... When you start the Warrior level, Take the time to UT everything in the first 3 chapters... Don't be scared of getting attacked by the ninjas because Ryu can still take a lot of punishment before he is thrown back by the ninjas or health taken away. This will build your essence quicker and give you the time to learn when and where the fiends spawn.. Pay attention to their pattern of attacks.. Use this to your advantage to practice Ultimate Guidance and perfect it.

Level the LS up to level 3 as soon as you can and the FT's to level 2 for Genhsin.. Then the Scythe to 3.. These will be your main weaponry as well as the Tonfas against the mechs. Botton line.. you should be loaded in essence at the end of the game, a better karma score, & more knowledge on chaining UT's..
