^Win. Anyway the reason the books don't go with halo 2 or 3 is because the halo 2 and 3 weren't around when the books were written. And because the books explain how Reach was taken out, the story of halo from different perspectives, how Master Chief got back to Earth, where the rest of the spartans where (Ghost of Onyx) and I don't know the rest because I haven't read them.
