Yessss!
I'll definitely be buying 'Baby Got Back' and the P!nk Song Pack.
I'll wait for the BEP tracks, because there will probably be a Song Pack
Idk about the last week, I've never heard that Jesse McCartney song. Or the Junior Senior song.
But overall, this is a good month.
Thank GOD Lips is finally getting the hang of good DLC

How come the only song showing up in my marketplace is The Next Movement? Where are the other two songs? Anyone else having this problem seeing only one song available from July 3rd?
Everybody wants some Lisa-tisfaction!

I guess you're the only one. Have you tried checking the regular Xbox Marketplace and not the Get Music section? that works also.

Actually, the marketplace is the only place I get my downloads from, not from the in game "Get Music" section. Perhaps I should try that and see what happens.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I did find the other two songs from July 3rd in the Get Music section of the game. Pretty funny though how they weren't appearing in the dashboard's marketplace.

Does anybody think it's weird how the Lips website hasn't been updated in almost a month?  I think we're ready for a Lips #1 Hits update Time [O]

It just updated, too bad it's the same post found in the Gamerscore blog.

Yeah I agree we need an update on the new game. Sometimes the developers are so secretive u_u

why do they release 1 good song, one lame song and one song noone has ever heard of...week after week.

in this case....

best song - shut up
song people know but is crap - baby got back (come on, keep the rap songs out of lips)
song noone gives a *** about - the next movement? who's even heard of the roots?

the pink pack is the best thing ever released on lips.

but then the week after it's back to the same formula....

best song - hey mama
song people know but is crap - just so you know
song noone gives a *** about -  can i get get get

Eggflip,

Not to be mean or anything. But sir. You probably need to expand your musical boundaries if you have never heard of some of the songs/tracks released on lips.

The Roots is one of the only Hip-hop acts that hasn't tried to sell out and go into the gangster rap or mainstream genre.  Black Thought (lyricist) is a lyrical genius. Not only that, QuestLove (drummer) used to be everywhere back in the day. Including shows like Chappelle's show for guest appearances and has even done percussion for other mainstream artists as well.

Other Artists such as Junior Senior, Boyzone, Sugababes, and Travis (all Artists featured in DLC on Lips) may not be big here in the United States, but they have had number 1 hits overseas in Europe.  And let me tell you, these songs are far from "crap".

So just because you think they are "crap" and no one gives a *** about them.  Doesn't mean that everyone else thinks like you do.  I for one, appreciate the fact that Microsoft is giving all Lips fans such a diverse selection of music from many artists that are not popular in North America.

Can't wait to see what's available in August.

have fun,

Jam.

Ouch! So true , so true. If you dont like the music just dont play anymore. I used to be a singstar fan but the tracks plus the dlc on lips has made sell my ps3 and get rid of singstar. I enjoy the game and the dlc. Ive heard of these artists and songs. The black eyed peas songs have been my favorite so far.

I need more!!!! lol

"Ouch! So true , so true. If you dont like the music just dont play anymore." Sleep [|-)]

Yeah that's sensible, if you get fed up with the DLC sell your xbox, ignore all the songs you downloaded and buy a PS3 instead with singstar.

No, how about you make your feelings known and let the designers know you aren't happy, the main reason for complaint is the small amout of DLC on the game, they are trying to please everyone worldwide and their diverse music tastes and are inturn making a lot of people fed up.

Artists like Pink are the way forward, they are household names and are mainstream and will appeal to a greater number of people.

The Roots is possibly the best artist on LIPS ( aside from Tina Turner) keep adding rap songs cause some ppl r forced to recite rap and WE know the rap songs! DLC is pretty cool! It offers variety fort he eclectic  so KUDOS LIPS keep up da good work ;-}
