I haven't downloaded TU4 yet but did they actually set it so you can restart failed levels in horde?

Odd thing is we died in wave 10 playing on HC and it took us back to the lobby....

The host has to choose if you will restart or go back to lobby.

Yes you can restart them.  I was just in a match and we restarted at level 19; but, you lose all the points you accumulated as a group.  I wish it was there the two times our team made it to level 38 and then died in the last week.

It's nice that you now receive exp points in the Horde, although, it is not based upon your number of kills so you receive only 150 points per round.  Also, the changes to the mortar suck, it takes longer to stand up after a shot.  And, the ticker level that comes up at every 10 levels can get boring.  In the match I just played we had enough shields out to keep them at bay so we just spent the time trying to get rid of all of them.  In fact, there are way more tickers all throughout the Horde levels.  It almost makes me wonder if they added it to try to help people get the Seriously 2.0 achievement.

Well the Ticker thing is only for the weekend.
And it's good that they did that with the Mortar.

I am sorry, but I just do not see how it is a good thing that you are stuck in a squatting postion and unable to do anything for a couple of seconds after you fire the mortar. If an enemy comes running up to you while you are in the middle of firing, you are screwed, or at least you will be damaged heavily.

Yes and instantly jolting up to run away while operating a weapon that weighs who knows what is so realistic :P

You are right.  If it was realistic it probably would be heavy which is why you would never even bother picking it up if you were being attacked.  Realistically, you would leave it on the ground and run off fighting; you would not pick it up just so you could drop it.  And, realistically, you are not attached to the thing so you could instantlly jolt up and run away.  But, this is a game so we are bound by the rules of it's creator.  I just wish they had used better rules. Wink [;)]

yeah its kind of trash to me, i got bored with all the tickers. i hope they change it asap. also is the experience points just for the weekend?

Exp is forever.
But you only get Double this weekend.
And the massive amount of Tickers in Horde are only for this weekend also.

It depends on the situation and how good you are with the Mortar.
If you just blindly pick up the Mortar not knowing what to do when someone gets close, then the extra time it takes to drop the Mortar might be a problem.

I rarely get Mortar because I find it too easy to get kills with :P
The only time I go after it is on Pavillion so I can keep the other team from using it.

Good to hear that Tickers in the 10th wave of Horde is only for the weekend...  interesting way to rack up a high bodycount, but I still like the Bloodmounts better as the finale before the difficulty steps up in the next wave.

They are gonna have to bring back the BloodMounts sonce they made an achievment for killing them :P
