New 360 wireless headset not charging

I just got my first wireless headset for the 360 yesterday and out of the package it would not take a charge.  So I took it back and got another one and having the same problem.  I was just wondering is this common with the wireless headset?  Is there anything that I can do?

never heard anything about that.  strange that both of them did that.  did you try more than one outlet?

no they where from two different places, just got a third from a totally different stores and works fine.
