I have to say that this is a really great Update.

I finally have a reason to want to play Public Horde.
Epic has killed the Mortar rushers.
Wingman is soooo much more enjoyable and I might actually start playing it more often.
Not sure if this is true, but I have heard that you now lose EXP for unplugging your Ethernet cord, FINALLY!
New DLC on the way.
Kicking players from Horde is a good feature if it is used the way it should.
And everything else that I forgot to mention.

I think that fixed something, because I noticed the same thing.  Alot less lag on my games.

-So you like to play horde now b/c you get XP. Epic did a fine job adding XP to the game. They even put in the extra effort to give all the waves the same XP. Awesome job epic! Sounds very creative and time consuming.

I'm happy with it too.  Amazing how the Epic forums are full of people complaining like crazy.  I agree with most everything Dustin said.

I'm hoping the XP penalty for pulling the cord isn't true though.  I use it only when a game is absolutely unplayable lag-wise - but it was nice to have for that reason.  I know some abused it - but it actually wasn't really known well enough over the general community (the tons of people who are not on the forums).  I'm not going to cry and moan if it is gone - just hoping (haven't had bad lag today to try it - hoping someone can confirm/deny this at some point before I do try).

And kudos to the Ticker Squad.  That was a real kick in the pants.  I wouldn't want it to be permanent - but it's nice for a weekend.

Yeah the Tickers were pretty neat. I also hope that it stays for the weekend only, because it gets boring every 10th wave lol.

People are gonna complain, cuz it's the cool thing to do.  It's funny, because if they hate it so much, then they should just move onto something else and leave the game to the people who like it.

Actually you don't lose xp for unplugging the ethernet cord. Had to do it at least 3 times today for laggy matches and never got the penalty .

I gotta say that I'm okay with mostly everything but the smokes. Now people are going to get back into the "throw smoke at first person you see and rush" mentality. The cringe is better than flopping around on the ground though, so good job to Epic for finding the middle ground between the nubs and the hardcore. I guess.

Yeah, i hope they fixed that annoying bug with the penalty (penalty for leaving early when in fact you didnt.) Plus people that do it, prob dont care for their rating. So its a wash, it only hurts those that care about it and get the penalty bug..

Epic made it so the weapons don't spawn until after 30 seconds have passed. By doing this, it is allowing teams that don't spawn near a weapon an opportunity to get it. That way, it's no longer whoever spawns at the weapon gets it, it's whoever is there and still alive after 30 seconds gets the weapon.

Loved it yesterday, but today ran into some lag issues and definite host advantage.  Shot a guy in the face with a shotgun and he looked like he was aimed at my feet and killed me.  At least they gave us XP for Horde so that I can continue to level up when I play Horde.

Whats with all the tickers now in horde? is it a perm or temp thing?

The tickers on wave 10 are just for this weekend.

As for the update, I don't see any major differences except the smokes (don't play Wingman or Horde - only Guardian) so...imo, the update pretty useless.  Smokes were better before and spawn killing is way too easy now.
