For once Gamestop is actually not ripping us offf!?!?
So I was on Gamesradar.com and came across a news story saying if you trade in 3 select titles (heres the list) and you get $59.99 off Fight Night Round 4! Thought this was pretty sweet and just wanted to let you guys know if any of you were interested. I for one am definetley considering it.

Heres the link to gamestops website if you want to look at it yourself.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this is a common staple at Gamestop/EB. High-profile releases are aften given the 'trade in three, get it FREE' tag.

Yeah and I don't think it is that great of a deal either since most of those games still bring in over $20 each so depending on which you trade you could actually be losing out... yikes. Unless they give you exact credit and you get the rest left over.

That's not a very good deal. They sell used copies of Sacred 2 for $55. And Ghostbusters? That just came out. In fact, a lot of those games still sell for over $30 used.

You gotta pay the troll toll.

I traded in COD: WAW for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. A PSP game, lol. (it is way better than COD was!)

Its kinda lame its basically a 4player local MMO. If you own a Wii wait for that version it has WiFi.

It is a very niche game, but that is not the best way to describe it. It is an RPG, but one with no story, so the gameplay seems to revolve around this constant grind. You build equipment from slain boss monsters body parts (that you can carve off of their bodies after they die). You are in this constant 'grind' of: go on a quest, kill the beast, build equipment, repeat. You probably won't take my word for it, but this is surprisingly fun.

The visuals are PS2 level and all-around jaw dropping; the scale of some of the monsters is amazing (one of them is climb-able, similar to Shadow of the Colossus); it is a very well put together game.

This is one of the three games I have for my PSP, the lurning curve is very large, you WILL get frustrated. However, at $30 I can't recomend it enough.

Wow, I forgot to mention that it is a full-blown action RPG, it is not turn based.

Well its probably either this, Henry Hatsworth, Peggle, or if anybody can reccomend any other good handheld games, that would be real helpful.

These are the ones I have:
Pokemon Pearl
God of War
Rachet and Clank
New Super Mario Bros
Mario Kart
GTA (PSP)

I think I'm going to try out an online game-swapping service. Anyone have any suggestions. The only one I know of is Goozex (thanks T-dar) but I really like the idea that the middle man in my used game transactions doesn't have as much overhead, and therefore has less of a reason to rip off gamers. I'll try it out and let you guys know what I think.

Yeah, but they're going to turn around and sell WaW for $50, Mirror's Edge for $20, and Far Cry will be around $25 so you've been screwed. Plus none of that money goes to the developers. You could have got more if you put them on craigslist and listed them as $65 for all 3 giving you enough to buy Fight Night. I'd rather do that and know me and the buyer were both getting a deal while neither of us were getting screwed over by Gamestop. People always think they're getting a good deal with those trade 3 in gimmicks and they're not.

You gotta pay the troll toll.

Their not ripping me off if they decide to sell the game for more than its worth, they're *** the people that decide to buy the overpriced used games. I almost never trade in games because I do like to support developers and thats why I decide to buy my games most of the time instead of renting or using Gamefly. I didnt feel bad trading in WAW becuase I think that it wasnt very good game and so I in no way fely bad trading it in. I also didnt feel bad trading in Mirrors Edge because I know I for sure am going to buy ME2 and probably Far Cry 3.
