what's going on dads.  Member of DaddyPlace since last year here, and I just got to say that my LIVE experience has been ten times better than what it was before I joined DaddyPlace.  I use to dread getting on LIVE and wondering what foul mouthed kid I would get stuck w/ next.  Three quarters of the time I would just not talk and mute everyone that couldn't speak intelligently.  Then I joined DaddyPlace and do I have a blast now.  I look forward to getting on LIVE and gaming w/ fellow dads.  We cut up, laugh, and understand what one another is going through.  I couldn't recommend this site enough to any 360 Dad's that are looking for that better LIVE experience.  A room full of dads on Halo 3, COD4, or just throwing the pigskin is a great time, everytime.

I joined Daddyplace about 6 mo's ago, and I couldn't have said it better.  I agree with afterthought's comments 100%.

Stop by, it's a great place with a great bunch of guys.

I too recommend daddyplace.com to any new or seasoned dads out there. I have been a member for a little over a year and the comradarie and knowledge that these guys have make for a pleasant place to hang out. We have lots of fun but when we need a serious discussion and advice everyone is quick to jump in and help. I for one actually cancelled my gold subscription after my free trial because I didn't know anyone online to play with and the people I would get paired up with would infuriate me with the senseless trash talk and cursing and I just didn't want to have that in my house especially with my son in the room. I joined Daddyplace and found out we had a 360 gamers group and it has made a world of difference. I look forward to seeing who is on to get a game started and just having fun. stop on by, you'll be glad you did.

Ditto, ditto, ditto.

I am a long time gamer (back to Magnavox Odysee II) and long time Dad (17yo daughter).  Playing on LIVE was getting pretty trying.  I really enjoyed it but the 'lil punks and their no0b attitudes was killin it.  My daughter was hooked up with a couple clans and really having a good time but I still wasn't interested in their clan politics, kid stuff really.  So I started running the clan tag [Dad] so that when I played with her and her friends they could figure out who I was. One night we joined a match and the other team had the tag [DaD].  They started talking with me and said I should check out the site and join up.  I did, changed my tag to [DaD] and saved me LIVE experience.  I actually have a hard time enjoying my gaming when none of my DaD friends are online 'cause when they are it is such a blast.

Come join us and see how much fun LIVE can really be.

I am a member of Daddyplace as well and I agree with what ever one of our members has wrote. Its a great place to get advice, post pictures, or just generaly shoot the BS. Gaming with the guys from DP is great. We support each other when others put us down for poor performance (Thanks Joey). We are a great group of guys so I hope to see alot of new members join up and hope to game with everyone.

What's up fellow dads?  I'm glad to see this and I will go check out daddyplace.com asap.  I've been a member of xbox live since the beginning and it is always a struggle to find decent gamers who share a similar outlook on life based on their family situation.  This sounds like a great way to play online with people who will have a built-in understanding of what it's like to be a father and a gamer.  It's always nice to play games with people who have a busy life with similar time restrictions and responsibilities.

I know what you mean..   That's one of the main reasons we started our Daddyplace Friday Night Gamenight..   Usually just dads playing.   Sometimes we play against some younger kids and most of them are cool with seeing a bunch of dads gaming together..   And to be honest..   We win alot of time when we play against the youngins..   I think they get mad at us because we game well together.    LOL

Wow, this sounds like an excellent group to join. I'll be checking it out tonight. It'll be nice to know I can join games with out some random jerk yelling, being racist or perverted.

I also see a few posters here play L4D. That is the main game I'd love to find mature friends to play with.

Wondering, do you guys ever play with your kids in your games too. Like if I wanna play a game of L4D and my kid isn't in bed yet could he play with us. Or do you try to keep it "dads only". I understand if you do, I'm just curious.
Are there ever times when one is required to be on. The main reason my last clan didn't work out is because I tend to work alot and my schedule didn't allow me to play during most of the times they said I was "required" to play a match or join a practice. Most of the time I play late at night.

I registered and am a member now but I have a big problem. When I go to the forums and try to read a thread the window freezes everytime. I get the "not responding" message and have to close it out.
Anybody have any idea why this happens or how I can fix it. I'm doing it from work and have no trouble with any other sites. Looking forward to the community if I can check it out with out this problem.

Thanks

I really love to play online but I always seem to run into foul mouth kids or overall nasty people. I am going to check out your site. It seems perfect for what I am looking for!!

A bunch of our kids actually play together Obi. Try switching web browsers, I had to recently because of IE locking up on a bunch of different sites.
