Light tanks
Homing rocket launchers
Sentry turrets
Airstrikes

Big maps (some dlc content is free)

* it gets pretty hectic and is a great game, come join us on Wednesday night at 9:30pm!

Re: Frontlines Aussie Session 9:30pm 1st July 2009

Just a reminder at 9:30pm tonight 1st July I'll be setting up a 16 player server

Gamer tag is Tasmanian Guy
Maps
Solar Farm
Oil Field
Wide Awake DLC*

Wide Awake may or may not be included depending upon how many people have the DLC (I believe the maps are 800 points), remember to also download the conquest mode which is free from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

I'll try to keep all Aussies, if you can't get in send me a message and I'll kick any foreign country powers out :-)

Some tips:

  • Remember some vehicles have flares, so when you see a missile lock detected on your screen, press the A button to fire the flares. When in a vehicle the right bumper operates as a turbo boost so you can get to the frontline faster!
  • Some helicopters have a stealth mode, press the right thumb stick to go into stealth mode, no missiles can then lock onto you but beaware that you can't fire either, press the right thumb stick again to exit stealth mode.

Feel free to post your tips of taking the frontlines! See you tonight!

Re: Frontlines Aussie Session 9:30pm 1st July 2009

Next gaming session 7th July at 8:30pm onwards (Eastern Australia Standard Time).

*  Remember in vehicles you can highlight targets for other players with the left bumper.
*  When you get a missile lock on, wait till the enemy has fired their flares and then when the flares are gone then fire as the enemy's flares wont be ready in time before the missile hits (mostly).
*  Fight at the flag and join a squad (or Xbox Live Party) so you can coordinate your attacks.
