No. Sorry.After calming down a bit, I called Customer Service to attempt to log a complaint since my perfectly functional console was screwed over by the "update." I was told that since it was a technical issue, I'd be transferred ... right back to India, where I was told that "1920x1080@60Hz
is 1080p" and that "perhaps your family settings are not allowing you to play the game."
When I told them I am an A/V installer and working with this stuff is my
job, the girl had the gall to tell me that Xbox 360 technical support is
her job and I need to either send my system in for repair or purchase a new HDMI cable. They will never understand, and I am never calling back. I tried accessing the US number posted above with my case number, but got some sort of busy signal every time.
This is idiocy, Microsoft. I can only hope you're still reading.
