Gamma/brightness issue
I wonder if anyone frequents this board anymore.....anyway, I recently picked up this game because I wanted to play it again (have the ps2 version) and upon booting it up I noticed the gamma/brightness level was turned up - very evident in the opening cutscene....all the blacks are greys; you can see a box around the project zero logo - I'm wondering if this is a common issue that everyone has had to deal with or if it can be fixed?  For a game like Fatal Frame, I think good deep black levels are important.

Right now I'm guessing it's an emulation issue as the brightness levels for all my other 360 games are fine.  But I don't have any other xbox games to test out.  Any help is appreciated.

Re: Gamma/brightness issue

Have you tried adjusting the brightness of the game in the options sections ? In the ps2 fatal frames *3 being more specific* the brightness of the game was beautiful :) ive seen the FF2 on the xbox and it is bright *undoubtably* so check the options and adjust them.

I regret what i did for a klondike bar :(

Re: Gamma/brightness issue
thanks for the reply - I just kinda dealt with it by lowering the brightness as much as I could tolerate....I think it looked okay in the end.  But the pre-rendered fmvs were undoubtedly much brighter.
