I tried to play this game today and I can't start an online game.
When I first started it I had to do 2 updates,the first when I started from the dashboard and a second when I tried to go online.

I can get as far as choosing my character but when I try and set up a multiplayer game it tells me my box can't connect to XBox live,even though the troubleshooter shows everything ok.

well, this response is only 8 months after you asked, ...... but I can tell you Senator that Links 2004 still works.  Played a couple rounds online last night with splizzo and vinn.

I was even able to re-download the premium DLC courses (Kapalua and Gallery) without having to pay again. (I've already paid twice for them, and wasn't willing to pay a third time.)  It finally recognized that I had purchased the content previously and allowed me to re-download them with no additional fee.
