I've tried and tried, and can't get through the last part of Chamber 18.  The one where you have to go up 4 or 5 platforms to the exit.  Yes I've seen the youtube vids and the walkthroughs and understand what you are supposed to do, but still can't manage to do it.  Anybody have any other tips or secrets I could try?  I would really like to get through this.

Just remember, you can keep bouncing from portal to portal while you set up your shot. Just don't move the left analog stick and make sure you know which portal you need to shoot next.

If you think it's hard NOW, try getting the "out of the blue" achievement. You can only exit blue portals, for the rest of the game, once you acquire both guns. So, not only do you need to line up your next shot immediately after being shot upward, you also need to shoot one below you before you come down.

Just  practice it and work with the physics the way your looking shooting and going up and and down through portals all affect how hard it will be. Tip always look straight down as your about to go through your portal on the ground.

Personally, I found that doing the Out of the Blue method was actually easier than the way I had been doing it before. Yes, you need to be a little quicker on the buttons, but you come out of the portals aligned properly instead of having to right yourself in mid-air and then shoot.

Thats true if you look straight down and re-shoot a new portal blue or orange you'll come out the opposite aligned up properly not having to right yourself.
