Any advice for extreme difficulty?
I know not to play it co-op as the checkpoints are removed, but does anyone have a rock solid way of doing this? Im really good at FPS, but this game can be a pain even on easy.
105 Games with all Achievements Unlocked

And Xbox Originals don't have Achievements, why?

The beauty of this game is the ability to switch characters on the fly.  Generally, I found I needed to keep the alternate character close by constantly hitting "regroup."  You need to know when and where best to be one character or the other; some situations are best with you controlling a sniper rifle, others require a machine gun so you need to adjust and change character accordingly.

When you're injured and you find the alternate character is a bit of a distance, you might need to change character to bring him to you sooner.  By the same token, if he's too far away, it might not do any good.

Basically, it's the same concept as most shooters, rule number one, you need to go into battle with the right weapon (s); in this case, you need to determine with which character it is best to lead in a given situation.  In this game it can change during the course of battle so you must be prepared to change character and adjust.  Also, sometimes it's best for the alternate character to take point (lead), it's similar to putting your hat on the end of your rifle to draw fire to figure where the enemies are and/or allowing you to take them out as they expose themselves.
