Anyone,

 

I have been playing Feeding Frenzy for what seems like decades and I still haven't unlocked the 10 hour achievement.  I have finished the game 3 times plus time attack and still nothing.  Anyone have any ideas?

There's no real trick to it other then just playing it.

There has to be some kind of problem, then.  I can't believe I haven't played it at least 10 hours.  I've finished 3 times going for the 300,000 achievement. I've completed time attack mode once.  I spent a billion years on level whatever it is eating sharks, and I spent 10 gajillion years getting my food bank to 40,000 (which is now close to 60,000)

Somethin' ain't right. (other than my grammar and hyperbole).

I agree mine is screwed up too. I played for 10 hrs after i started keeping track (45k) and still no achieve. Any tips for resetting the game or something?

they don't give it to you so you keep playing it to get it, but all it does is build up their games 'playtime'.  hahaha.  It's a wicked plan, but it worked.  You have now officially played the game longer than all their testers.

Okay, I have an idea on this.

The way I've been trying to get this is play the first level and get my fish as big as it can.  Then I sit on the screen until he finally finishes the level by accident.  Then I quit and repeat.

What I'm thinking is maybe I need to play until all my continues are used up for the time to count.  If I just quit, I don't get the leader board and I'm betting it doesn't register my time.

I'll keep you informed. (If anyone still cares.)

It seems like it takes more than 10 hours.  My wife finally got it and then the 40,000 Food Bank two days later.

I've got about 70,000 in the food bank right now and all the rest of the achievements.  It seems like everyone who gets this achievement doesn't get it last.

This is what makes me think I might be on to something.

I still have your message on my dashboard. I cleared cash and have played for maybe 5-6 hours. It's hard to do this all over again. Let me know if you end up figuring anything out and i'll do the same. Are you on A360p forums at all?

I've attempted my theory about making sure I run out of continues and get to the update page, but, like you, it's very hard to keep doing this.  A counter would be nice.

I don't think I'm on an A360p forum because I don't know what it is?  Is it cool?

I think all acheivements liek the 10 Hours, Eat 1000 Sharks, etc should hvae % complete indicators.

 

Test Drive Unlimited did this for all it's achievements and it was great.

 

I got 10 Hours a couple of days ago, and have about 34,000 in the food bank, but have no idea how close I am to the stupid 1000 Sharks.

I was looking around the forum to see if there was any way to find out just how far I have gotten with the 1000 sharks and the 10 hours (since I seem to have been playing FOREVER!!!)...  I guess I'll just keep at it.  I'm glad to know that people out there *have* actually received the acheivement.  It brings a smile to my face.  hehe...

dont know of any way to display the 10 hours...but i did find a safe spot on the game for waiting some time out...

After you beat the main game I went to the last stage and got to the last size on my fish...large enough to eat sharks.  i waited at the middle of the screen towards the bottom.  Most of the small fishes ran and the jelly fishes froze me a bit.  Every once in a while I ate a shark that came up to my mouth.  I was able to go take a shower...wash the dishes and eat (about an hour) before it was near full from the occasional fish/shark i ate..

Finally,

I got it.  I think this guy was right.  I went to the last level, got as big as I could, waited between the two clams (sounds kind of dirty, but it isn't), and watched a lot of DVDs.

I think the deal is you have to finish the game for the time to count, hence the last level.

Anyway,  on to bigger and harder ones (that's not dirty, either).

I've played this a bunch too.....I've beaten the entire game 3 times, spent a lot of time on the shark levels, and completed the time trial.  It feels like a lot, but since I can get through the whole story mode in under 2 hours, I'm sure I'm close.  But what I'm wondering is, perhaps it's possible that only the time you spend in Story mode counts?  Like a lot of online achievements, games don't count unless you are in Ranked games.  I wish someone could confirm something, anything, about this. 

That said, my food bank is only up to 28,000, so I have a lot more to go.  Fun game, but this is really pushing it.

Well, nm.  I played through the entire game last night, and got it after only 30 minutes.  It works!  Now I need 8000 more fish, and hopefully only a couple hundred more sharks.

I got it about a month ago now.  I think the time only counts when you finish the shark king level.  I did the trick where you get to the largest size and sat at the bottom of the screen and left it there.  After doing that about 4 times I got it.

For me, the 10 hour achievement unlocked together with the 300000 points achievement.  So I agree, there must be something weird with the 10 hours, I am sure I played much longer than 10 hours.

If I were you, I would leave the game on for maybe 2 hours a day on pause without anyone playing it.

I got the 300,000(+) achievement last night, and I know I've played more than ten hours, but I have not received the 10 hours achievement yet.

Just want to leave a note that my fish bank is at 55.000 and still no 10 hour achievement. I didn't want to spend time on this game while NOT playing but perhaps it's the only way...
