Okay, now I'm just wondering why people would negative rep someone on this particular game. I mean I can understand the quitting early which I'm guilty of due to laggyness while facing some users etc. But to go and give someone "Aggressive, and Unsporting" negative rep is just ridiculous. lol I never use my mic so I don't understand the "trash talk" one, and how do you not play by the rules in UMK3? Do people just negative rep because they lost? or because they're bored. It makes me laugh, I only play UMK3 because I figure if I don't have an HDTV, I don't need to be playing HD games. Anyone else experience stuff like this or is it just a lost cause for concern?
A few reasons, I'd assume. Most common would be sore losers.
A) They negative rep you, to try and make themselves feel better for losing.
B) They negative rep you, to avoid playing with someone better than then, though they can't neg rep you for being too skilled, because they can't admit you're better than them.
C) A & B
D) They're new to the game, or just really shitty and think some combos are "unfair"? (Not sure on this one).
Trust me, it used to be a lot worse. I played this since it was released on the acrade. At the beginning, I was down to a quarter star rep. I'm still at 89% avoided from it, though it was at about 95%.
For some reason, UMK3 generally attracts gamers that are, immature, foul mouthed idiots. I could go on to give examples, but I doubt it's needed.
