A few good suggestions for your patch Ubisoft.

Well there are things in DA that shouldn't be in ANY Splinter cell, and then there are the things you cant make one without. Here is a good list of what needs to be changed.

1. Removal of the Upsilon's (merc's) Pres. Dectector.

EX. Why? because it eliminnates the whole feeling of stealth, and replaces it with a "Cat and Mouse" feeling. In your multiplayer, it feels like the spy has no chance of living the whole round because he/she, can be found so easily.

2. Bring back the Optcal Camoflauge.

EX. It is a part of the Shadownet image. And can't be left out of the new "HD era". It brings the idea of useing the light as a shadow to remain hidden. It should be given to all spys and have slightly greater positives than it had in CT, thusly would give the player a stronger feeling of stealth.

3. We have the right to create our own sessions.

EX. I want to play with a friend, but I dont want to deal with difficult/immature hosts. I belive we all can agree that creation of our own session is REQUIRED for any Live game.

4. Audio options, I shoulldn't need to tell you guys that.

EX. No offence but I want to use me ears as well as my eyes and head,I cant hear my team mates over the (no offence) loud and anoying music. Another STANDARD feature looked over because of "Next gen" thinking. As well as the "intro voices" should have an option of volume.

5. The players voice.

Ex. Take a good look at Chaos theroy, now look at doubble agent. Witch one has the better player base? Fun gameplay? Get back to me on your answer.

Well everyone, feel free to flame, add to the list, or just talk trash.

No way the presence detector was the best decision the Shanghai team ever made. That game would be so unbelievably unbalanced without it. The mercs would NEVER win. Besides I your a deathmath noob, go play spies v spies. The detector stopped the kamakazi spies from ruining the game. (well it took a few rounds for them to realize that they were making futile charges. Besides the presence detector made being the merc  less "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD WHERE IS HE I'M SCARED AND AM GONNA GO HIDE IN A CORNER!" and more "WHERE IS HE I'M GONNA KILL THAT LITTLE SON OF A B****" in other words, it actually made being a merc fun; which was the main downfall of chaos theory.

I totally agree on the camo, though. But they would have to give the merc another item to balance it.

97% OF TEENS WON'T STAND UP FOR GOD. IF YOU'RE ONE OF THE 3% WHO WILL, PUT THIS IN YOUR SIG.

I agree with # 3, but I want to take it to the next level...

Throw in the kitchen sink, every possible gadget you can think of from any splinter cell game.  Then let the host decide which ones will or won't be used, or have it be a vote based consensus by the players (majority rule).  You can only carry one at a time anyway.  I miss the stun gadgets, and I am not a mario-bounce agro spy.  And every gadget on one side should have a counter for the other side.  Makes choosing the right gadget more strategic.

I have a feeling the regular players will gravitate toward a specific configuration that works well.  But at least everyone has the option to play with or without their favorite gadgets.

IMHO they balanced the presence detector by putting in the ability to drop a false beacon.  So much fun to have a MERC circling around a wall you are NOT inside of.  While you are off doing something more interesting.  Personally I think the beacon should remain indefinitely until destroyed manually, with a limit of 3 on the number in play at any given time.

Bring back the darkness, and get things out of the walls.

GET RID OF MERCS BEING UNGRABABLE WHEN THEY'RE DRONING.

Please....

Commander's Challenge is the only XBL Arcade game worth getting.

Re: A few good suggestions for your patch Ubisoft.
In Double Agent the Mercs have Drones, they're basically controllable flying bombs. The main disadvantage to these is that
A. You can't back up against a wall using them
B. You can't see what's going on near you
which is supposed to leave you susceptible to being grabbed, but when the Mercs jump on furniture, for some reason spies can't grab them, which lets them use the Drones constantly and cover 2 terminals at once with no danger to themselves.
IMO the best way to fix this is to make Mercs grabbable from all sides when using Drones.
Commander's Challenge is the only XBL Arcade game worth getting.

Yeah, but in PT you have the spy camera that you can shoot into a wall. When a spy gets near, you can dispense the gas and knock them out. I like it better than the drone, which is just unrealistic and takes away from the spy's advantage of sneaking around.
