i'm i the only one who has the scratched disk problem?
this is my third copy of the game and if i didn't enjoy it so much i wouldn't even consider
trying for a fourth.

my 360 keeps on scratching my disks, am i really the only person who has this problem?


and it's only happened with 2knba....

Maybe the disk's balance isnt right. That use to happen to me with 2k6

the disk's balance?  you mean a problem with the actual disk manufacturing or my 360 might not be balanced?

is a perfect circle about a 1/2 inch from the center.  Cause my copy has that now too.

that's the fate of 3 of my nba2k's.  something is definitely not right when multiple people report
the same problem.  My 360 won't even play a new copy of nba right now so I'm waiting for my
coffin.

once i get the money i'm going over to Sony cuz this is bull*hit.

I heard that the balance thing is a manufacturing problem. im not sure though, and it could've just been someone making up stuff. Though my 360 has froze a couple of times, Im glad it hasnt got to a point where I have to return it(still knockin on wood). Currently 2k7 is the only game Im having the "dirty disk" problem with which happens every 6-9 games. Hopefully it's a 2k problem and not a 360 one. But even if it's a 2k problem, they should fix it

Looks like it could be a 2k problem... This guy gets the "dirty disk error" for his current gen  and next gen xbox consoles. Read below
 
 
"The 2K7 games must have a bad batch of discs out there because my Xbox version and my 360 version keeps having the same disc error problem. first i thought my old gen Xbox had a dirty lens, so I cleaned it but that didn't help I thought maybe may system was just wearing down so i traded it in for a 360 and bought 2K7 for it, and WTF??? Same problem. The only time i have completed a game was when i unplugged my ethernet cable from my 360. ?????"

man that's weird. 

i can't play 2k7 but i can play other games without much problems it seems.  although i get that screen sometimes that says "to play this game put it in an xbox console" spiel in 15 different languages with other games (especially GOW)


it sucks that when you send it back they just send you a refurb, but it's better than not playing 2k hoop.

Did you get all your 3 2k7 copies from the same store?
 
My first copy of 2k7 which I got it in a Best Buy pretty far from my house since it was the only Best Buy that had the game on opening. This game that I got from that Best Buy was giving me the "disk error" thing almost every other day. After a couple of days having to deal with this "drity" crap. I took it back to the nearest Best Buy(not the 1st store) and got a new copy. This is the copy I currently have, though it still gives me the saem "dirty disk  error" crap, atleast iot doesnt do it every other game.
 
Maybe getting the game from another store that's not nearby will help.
 
In other notes... I neve rhad a problem with GOW, but I did have some freezgin on Saints Row

Your not  the only one.  My xbox has scratch PDZ and now GOW in the same circular way.

and No!!!  I did not moved my xbox. 

Halo 2 and Call of duty 2 seem to be fine.

I've got an email in with tech support.

my 360 is a new one second one I have had ad it mess my disk up also. Its something in the system design

my system is flat, and still theres a huge circular scratch in my disk i am so pissed off at microsoft their so cheap they hire people who work for 10 cents an hour
