Not all the items have a second use - it's just that it doesn't make sense for them to disappear after being used.

Hey Deej,

I wish to say it was a beautiful game and felt very fresh & raw with a new style. The music and the artwork felt wholely original. Especially when layered upon such a uniquely softspoken tone. The political undertones felt entirely original for a video game. I definitely do not think you own a bush/cheney bumper sticker. You should certainly be applauded for being kind enough to answer questions on this forum. Clover certainly opens itself to a sequel and would really like to see an even more polished version. You are really onto something. The ending was once again wholely original. great job ! I liked the simplicity of the game with the complexity of the tone.

Here are a couple game play considerations for a future game:
- When you complete a dialogue with a character (ie stuntman) or  an object (ie organ) a little green check above would be very helpful. I was slinging objects all over town thinking i had to get poop out of the organ or help the stuntman with his next stunt or find a way to bust into Fox News (just examples).
- Alternatively, a journal that clearly indicates when objectives have been complete or mission requests would prevent people like me from beating a dead horse. Sometimes people are just talking and you have no way of knowing if they're rambling or asking you to do something about it.
- I had to hold left trigger button to run for over five hours. Perhaps there could be an option to inverse this, like in older Final Fantasy games. I'd love that.
- If a gamer does not find a use for every object they find, they assume they missed something. Unless they're told there are decoys upfront. or at the end.
- The curtains KILLED me. I thought i had to make the main character look older. Like wearing the curtains and standing on the bucket or anvil. Or do something about the old man's vision. Or find a fake moustache. What i never would have thought of was putting the curtains on the exterior of the building. Especially when there's a door adjacent to it which indicated its locked. because a locked door indicates it can be unlocked. The hints felt more like decoys. The matchsticks/candles made me think i had to make the room brighter.
- The artwork pieces were awesome and a great touch
- I didn't mind slinging around all of the objects for some reason so there's probably something to that

again, great job and i look forward to more.

Hi,

Thanks for all the feedback! I'm quite interested in the 'puzzle complete' idea.

I'm working on something else that might interest you, keep checking www.binarytweed.com and all will be revealed in the near future.

Hello all staff responsible for Clover.

I just finished the game and have to say that I am really fascinated by this game. I didn't even know this game existed since just a few days ago when i stumbled upon it on the Indie section, which I didn't even had seen before.
The game is great and I must say that I love the graphics and the overall tone the game gave out.
However, I can really support the previous poster about a journal that maybe would have helped on some of the puzzles. At least I never had any problems about the curtains. Could be the thank from the Kings Quest and the Monkey Island games. =)

Are you planning on making any sequel? Are you satisfied with the finished product of this game?
I can say that I would LOVE to see more from you in the future...and i even wish that this game would have cost 800 so I could have supported you a bit more.

Overall, some flaws in the game (like not being able to turn running on auto in the options menu and stuff like that) but almost perfect in its own way. I really really liked it.

By the way, how come you put those hedgehogs there in the first place? They are cute but they are also in my way when running. =)

Best regards// Olof, Sweden

Cheers for the feedback! Don't forget to rate the game accordingly when the Xbox Live Dashboard update happens tomorrow.

I've been saying this for a while (I'll get the PR schedule sorted soon, honest!) but keep checking binarytweed.com for announcements.

By the way, do you think there are many Swedish gamers who don't read English? Jeanette (artist on Clover) is Norwegian and I know you Scandinavians are pertty good with English generally, but I'm wondering if there's a market for nordic translations.

Right now none of the Nordic languages are acceptable translations on XBLIG even though you are allowed to ship to those countries.... English, French, Spanish (of Spain), Italian, German and Japanese are the only choices for reviewers (and therefore developers)

Now if your big PR announcement is about a non Indie Games title then thats totally different..

I couldn't possibly comment :)

Any reason in particular why the Nordics aren't supported? If there's Japanese support, I'm guessing it can't be a character set issue.
