Review: Dash of Destruction
This game wasn't really that fun. There are two game-types. One where you are a Doritos truck trying to get to checkpoints before being eaten by dinosaurs. The other is where you are a dinosaur trying to eat the Doritos truck. As you go later in the game, the game gets harder. You have to try to beat other dinosaurs to the trucks, like a race for food. First to ten wins!
It got boring after awhile, with no online multiplayer. There was an achievement for winning a multiplayer game, if you had only one controller...you're screwed! The other achievements are good, but fairly basic unlike ones in Battlefield: Bad Company where there's one for "Reaching the highest point in the game," or in Halo 3 where you must "Get a Triple Kill with a sword in any Ranked Free For All match." They're pretty drab and been-done. Mostly just beating certain levels.
There weren't multiple difficulties to defeat, which made the game even more boring and short. I guess some of you are thinking "That's why it's free." Well yeah, but Aegis Wing was free, and better than this game. It's longer, but I won't get into too much detail.
The biggest reason I didn't like this game was because it had absolutely NO replay value whatsoever! You beat once, you win a game of multiplayer, and there you go, you beat the game! It's disappointing, to be frank. With no online interaction or different difficulties, it didn't make for a great game. Don't get me wrong, for this time when I was playing this, I loved it, but the levels are similar, and not that great.
This game was fun, but I think I might be being a little generous. I liked it the first time around, but not the second, etc. I think this game was somewhat of an advertisement for Doritos saying that "Even dinosaurs can't resist their cheesy deliciousness!" I'm going to give it a 6.5 out of 10.

I never expect too much when something is free... But the chance for some extra gamerscore? Why sure!

So for a few minutes work (OK, maybe about 30 for me) my GS just went up by 200 points.

I'm not complaining!

I don't think Gamerscore is really that big of a deal, but that's probably because I didn't start out really caring much. I can see that u r really after all the Gamerscore u can get, and that's just fine, but for me, the real purpose of playing a game is to just have fun.

I look at GS as a bonus to having fun... In fact the more fun I have (doing different things with different games), the higher one's GS goes... So, for me, I am not after GS per say, but I don't mind picking it up along the way... While I'm having fun, since it is possible to both. I kind of look at it as an opportunity too good to pass up.

This game was mildly entertaining... But it certainly has little replay value and there are more entertaining games to play.

Touché. I get achievements when either stuck on a game, or when I already beat it.

Also, a lot of times, the achievements inspire me to do/try things I might not normally do... For this game it would be the "destroy all buildings" achievement.

Re: Review: Dash of Destruction
Almost all of them came without an effort. Except the multiplayer one.

I like the game because I just enjoy rampaging through cities trying to get Doritos. The only reason I got the game was because I was eating Doritos when I first saw the trailer for it. I also just like doritos... lol
