I've been a big fan of the Streets of Rage games cence I was a kid. And I would like to see all of the game brought back to the masses. For me the first Streets of Rage was my favorite one of them all. Hey they did it for Sonic, why  the *** did Streets of Rage get the same treatment?

    I would say its because Sonic was so huge of a franchise that he replaced Segas original mascot OpaOpa. As for Streets only die hard Sega fans and arcade junkies know how good the game was.

For me, it was the music SOR 1 that won me over. at time I would spend hours just messing around the sond test on the opsions screen. Now that was fun.

     Lost stars was it a compilation game, if so I had probably played them all. I was an addict Sega was like candy to me. I played Alex Kidd in Monster World for YEARS! Not a great pic but Opa-Opa.

SOR 1 was easily the best, and that skate guy sucks compared to Adam. Me and my bro used to play that on our SEGA in the 90s ... ha

the other good SEGA games were...

Desert strike (i think it was called that, you had a chopper and blew up buildings...??)

NHL 94, it was classic, and not much worse than the new ones now

Pete Sampras Tennis, the umpire was a ledg "Quiet Please"

Anyone remember those?

I do remember all of those games. Like I mensioned before. I would love have SOR 1 on Live Arcade. Now that would make my day.

Streets 1 was ok BUT i'd really like to see streets of rage 3 up, its one of the best games sega ever put out.

You know I heard that sometime next spring they're coming out with a giant Genesis game pack for the 360 and PS3. It'll have SoR 1, 2, 3, Phantasy Star 2, 3, 4, a bunch of Sonic the Hedgehog games, and alot of other really random stuff.

   Good call CaliburRabbit, I had just stumbled upon this a night or two ago! SEGA ANNOUNCES SONIC’S ULTIMATE GENESIS COLLECTION.. Looks like a big confirmed to me this is one big compilation!

Just to let you know, this will actually be released as a retail game, so on disc not in the arcade collection. So far I've found it available for preorder on play.com for £25, however this is only for the U.K. This is a really good price considering there will be 40 titles on the disc.

It's a fine collection but it doesn't has any multiplayer options (co-op, vs. or the leaderboards). I would like to see SOR 1 and/or 3 on Xbox live.

But you know what? They should coop with Bombergames.net and bring Streets Of rage REMAKE to XBLA <3

Do you know you can buy the full soundtrack on i tunes? I purchased it not long ago....and yes, it's still bloody amazing 
Even better is being able to listen to it whilst walking along the street - it's really surreal, like being in your own video game- just dont go drop kicking fat blokes or punching phone boxes looking for chicken to heal yourself!

I agree bring 1 and 3 around. I'm with you guys that's been playin' this since the genesis dayz. I do have I one problem with SOR2 on xbox live. I've tried to start several co-op games, but never get anyone joining in, except once on versus.
