Re: Multiplayer pros, "teabagging"?
Teabagging is just a quick way of saying, "i disapprove of how you've been playing", or "got ya cheeky"

I teabag guys that go around the back of a spawn points and hide on a roof spawncamping.

I'll teabag a guy who has 30 kills ALL from rifle grenades and hasn't worked out that his rifle fires bullets.

The thing is with teabagging, is that you have to be cool with knowing that you will probably get killed doing it. It's worth it to get your little message across. Stick out tongue [:P]

I also teabag kids who have host because I deserve it.  Killing host should get you a medal.

Having several times personally suffered the indignity of Earl Grey dropped in the face of my lifeless corpse, I cannot stoop, or should I say bend, to that level of sportmanship. Psychologically speaking I think the practice of said bagging stems from some of the theories found in Darwins writings and studies. Survival of the fittest and marking of territory. In my own experience I have found that most of the bagging performed on my digital soldier has been performed by digital soldiers less adept at killing myself or other digital soldiers. In some cases it is an attempt at showing that they are superior or at least your equal. In other cases it may be a custom or battlefield ritual not unlike the plains indians collection of scalps or the GI's collection of Viet Cong ears. I think most of the time it is done subconciously out of respect for the vanquished foe. While disgusted physically by the practice I have to admit in some ways it honors my abilities and is not unlike a badge or medal worn on the neck, or in this case worn on the chin.

PS---In the future be kind enough to offer crumpets before dropping down. Cheerio!

Re: Multiplayer pros, "teabagging"?
You're looking too deep into it CalculatingRisk.

I've played with you countless times and I always play with a certain group of players. (you know who they are)
Yes, we do teabag people, mostly each other if we're playing on opposite teams.
We don't do it out of spite or to show superiority.  Actually, we do it for fun!
It's kind of an in-joke between us all.

The only time I teabag total strangers is when they're blatantly spawncamping.
If they have the audacity to sneak behind me and shoot me in the back in my own spawn, (a cowardly act in my opinion) I take delight in repeatedly dropping my balls on their face.
They deserve it.

By the way Risk, do you have a mic?
I've played with you about a hundred times and I've yet to hear you utter a single word on the mic.

Ash,

I hope my bag essay did not 'taint' the thread with to much thought. All in fun.

Yes I have played with you and the "war" group countless times. That group and a couple of others are why I am still playing this game 2+ years later. I do have a mic but I have not and probably will never use it. I enjoy listening, (Major Payne - etc.), and at times players actually contribute useful information to help win that particular match. I beleive if I were to engage in live conversation I would spend more time blocking communications than actualy playing the game. As City would say ---- to many yahoos.

Re: Multiplayer pros, "teabagging"?

this is all u need to see from that:

  • Simulations of teabagging are often used in video games, specifically multiplayer first person shooters such as Counter-Strike, the Battlefield series of games, Call of Duty, and Halo. "Teabagging" is performed by repeatedly crouching down - a common movement in FPSs -on top of an enemy corpse. The act is a form of victory dance to show ownage and to humiliate an enemy player.

Yes I have, I normally teabag another player on CoD when they've either killed me twice in a row (or more) without me killing them back.  Good thing I only need to do it once in a blue moon Wink [;)].

I love to tea bag. I 1st started tea bagging cos my name used to b SQUARE BULLOCKS and i thought it would b a funny thing to go along with my name and now i just do it for a laugh and hav come up with a few new tea bags to make things even more interesting (such as the running tea bag and the long distant tea bag.) and what i love best is to join in with other people while they r tea bagging (the old TEAM BAG). I think the tea bag is a brilliant idea it brings aload of humour to a game that alot of people take to seriously. and i must admitt i like watching people tea bag me it makes me snigger.

You know, you could always add us as friends.
Lately we've been getting 8 of us together and playing COD3 in a party almost every time we play together...which is several times per week.
It's much better that way because we don't have to listen to the idiots or young kids.
Instead of talking to the yahoos, you can talk to us!
    Talking is mandatory, though.
You can't stay silent if you play COD3 with us.  Smile [:)]

    Zombie t-bag - I love it.
However even more wrong would be - when you get revived team kill the medic and then t-bag him.
