Hey, I used to play RTCW way back on PC. Played it briefly on XBOX

totally amazing game, fun-*** multiplayer. Anyways, on PC it was pretty much a one map game, and this was Beach Invasion. Just such a fun map, and when I think about it....probably the best ever. I mean spanning all FPS's, I cant quite remember when one map just made a whole game fun. Ok Let's admit it, Wolf had decent gameplay and there were a lot better options at the time. But Beach Invasion was just sooo addicting that people didn't even care about those things.
This one single map pretty much preserved a whole community on RTCW for years to come.And then everyone went to Enemy Territory....

Is it safe to say that Beach Invasion is the best map ever?
I can recall some good maps like Carentan on CoD or V2 on MoHAA, but none stand out in my mind like Beach Invasion

Beach is one of the all time greatest maps.

Only thing wrong was that those that lacked skill always bitched about it because they got rumped every time they played it

Less than 0.1% of players are any good at CoD4. The 0.1 being my friends list :)

There was also Depot in the PC version, where both teams had to attack.  Unfortunately in the xbox version, the Depot from the PC version got split into Depot and Trainyard, both being just one objective maps and very boring.

Hands down Beach Invasion was the best map, so much action back then when people used to play it.

Beach Invasion is the BEST MAP EVER as long as you are not playing team death match.

No way, Tram is the best. I used to hate the beach map. Other than all, yeah I went to ET when that came out. Addiction problem, extremely addicted, played for hours and hours, after work more play and passed out on the keyboard once, lol. The only thing that I did not like about it was sooo many downloads on almost every server, which over filled my hard drive a few times, had to delete a bunch of crap. I would still be playing it, except that it doesn't seem to work on Windows Vista :(. Wish they had it on live.

Beach was way overplayed! Besides - Destruction, Assault, Norway, Base, Village, and Sub were way better than Beach. Too bad not enough people got a lot of time on the other maps!

Or there's those that played nothing but Axis on beach for their entire RTCW career....you know who you are. Embarassment.

On xbox yea but beach was actually played as a competitive map on PC.

Haha i agree, Destruction/Ice is by far the 2 best maps in the game. In my opinion.
