i completely disagree,  the first game is a lot better than the second.  while the story mode and terrorist hunts will never get old when u play with friends, the multiplayer will never compare to the multiplayer in the first game.  I think if they put a map just like calypso casino people woudlnt complain as much about the mp.  Plus most of the maps are to small.  Ubisoft didnt try very hard in this game.  they put in a minimal amout of effort.  all of the mp maps are in the story mode,  i know i would play a whole lot more if they made a map pack of some of the maps from rsv1.

The game does not suck but its not has good as I hoped and it does have bugs. I did enjoy playing. Coop is filled with bugs, not getting acheievments and the game freezing. Ubisoft should have taken a bit more time and worked ont he graphics and coop.

i agree but disagree. i think the game is great, mp is fun, story is a fun challenge, and the customization is beyond any other shooter. The A.C.E.S. is a great factor, and the ranking system isnt too slow but fast enough to make you fel like you're accomplishing something. On the flip side, mp has a few bugs (lagging, acheivments, boosting, etc.). Story mode has the same problems as well. the A.C.E.S. go by too fast and the whole boosting issue is B.S. and so is the campaign glitch. Overall, i would give the game a 7 because its almost as good as the first R6V but the bugs and problems and all the people b*tching about how bad it was would be completly avoided if the game's release date was pushed back about a month and the classic maps from R6V were added. and even if those things were in an update and maps in the marketplace, people would think this game is all that and a bag of chips and wouldnt waste their time making these boards because they would be playing the game instead of complaining about it.

the game is as bugged as all the rest ...obtained all the achievements accept for the private first class which will get sorted ..it is better then the the first by a large margin  ...the old maps will be added in time...for people who dont finish many games try going a little further into the game before you make an opinion.

tbh i agree.. just look at my thread to understand why.

all i want is the maps from rsv1, or just calypso casino.  that would be sooooo awesome.

i didnt, form teh teaser trailer i tought the graphocs would be better( not that good...im not that stupid) multiplayer went form larger to small maps, it seems closed

Ugh i hate cod4 multiplayer, there is nothing to it, it's the exact same as cod3 but with modern weapons, at least Rainbow has lots of coop, i gotta disagree on that

i knew ppl that became an Elite within the 1st 2 days of the game coming out

u can boost in R6V2 soo easily

its just retarded,

they screwed up the sequel to Rainbow 6 Vegas

When I first popped the game in.. my friend invited me to a game and I joined and all they did was boost... it wasn't fun at all.. but then after that it was just Vegas 1 with.. sprinting?  I do like sprinting but I wish they had just made a Vegas 1.5 and charge half price with new maps and sprinting....

Now i don't apporve of boosting or cheating in games, legit is the way to go.....but I can't take anyone with the letters "DJ" in front of their name seriously. at the same time i wouldn't expect anyone to take someone with lego batman as their top played game or a 3 instead of an E in the name seriously either.

so just ignore this post altogether i guess

I just got this game for like 20$. Its very good. I like that when you shoot somone they die. Unlike every other FPS where you have to unload clips into someone for a kill.

lol wow, this game hit detection is by far the worse out of all the shooters,especially. i mean especially online. now dont get me wrong offline is fun works great, but all that is gone when you play online.
