I saw a prieview for this game at game spot says it is coming out spring 09.  Is this a different game or did they re name it?  and if it is defferent has any one found out about the actual street date for either?

im pretty sure frozen codebase got absorbed by another company , and thats why this game was delayed for almost a year .... so it wouldnt be a surprise if it was renamed from zombie wranglers , to zombie apocalypse ..... maybe the new conglomerant thought wranglers would give consumers the wrong idea and make the game sound unsatisfying .....

kind of like the activision CEO who said that ghostbusters wasnt worth it due to the fact that it would not produce yearly profits .... now that company filed for bankruptsy ..... maybe he was an ex AIG douchenozzle

zombie wranglers is a seperate game ....

zombie apocalypse is said to be sort of like smash TV , a boxed in shooter .....

It looks like fun. Kind of like Burn zombie burn on the PS3,but this one is looking a little bit more serious.

thank you I had not been able to find any solid info until recent, It was just a question and no I think that zombie wrangler is not going to be as good. Just my opinion, I am not a fan of the cell shade thing when it comes to the zombie genre. But thanks for trying to make me feel dumb. :)

Yeah I thought this was Zombie Apocalypse re-named too but it's very different!  I just went ahead and bought it anyway since it's a zombie game with co-op though I can't seem to find very many people playing online - only 1 after about an hour of trying last night.

It's kind of like Ghostbusters in a way with the 'wrangler pack'.

It's enjoyable, but it's not Zombie Apocalypse.

whats the story with the rumors of these other 2 zombie games called .....

According to most websites, it was out yesterday! There's even achievement lists available for it. Its not on XBLA so go figure....

I think you're mixing up Deadnation which looks awesome and is a PSN exclusive (for now) vs Zombie Apoc which recently had its achievements put up.
