I love the new interface with the avatars and the avatars standing on the podium after an online game, the winner with a happy face, and the loser crying and throwing a tantrum!  Also, I can now invite people to play from within the game instead of pressing the Xbox guide button.  It's still a pain to have to keep inviting the same people over and over again if I want to play multiple online matches.  I wish that could have been fixed.  Still, I love the new interface!

this made the game a whole lot more enjoyable with the larger menus and enabling avatars....how come it wasnt news on any website i wonder? (being avatar enabled is a big deal right now)...and where would you find a list of the updates they provide for the games (retail/arcade) over live?

i agree that the new look really makes this game better.  i hated this game when i was trying to get all the achievements.  but now that i have it maxed out and with this new look, i actually played a few games for fun this weekend.  The winner podium at the end is sweet!  I love how pissed the losers look.

so you've actually played a game online?  lol, i stayed in that game for an hour one night just so i could get the played an online game achievement and couldn't get more than 3 people in a room.  really would be nice if you could play with a bot or something.

when's a good time to get online?  anyone going to be online tonight?

All you need is one other player in the room to start a game.  All my online games and wins have been head-to-head showdowns.

All I've played are private two-player matches.  You can still get all the online achievements with just player matches.

I haven't played this game, since I first got it.  When I saw that it now incuded my avatar, I got back into it.  It's funny to look at them, acting sad and angry.  I even got my wife to play me...she kicked my butt.  But just yesterday, I got 3 new achievements for it.  So, YES, I do like the new look.  It's not any easier for me though.   

I just got around to trying the game since the update and it's a big improvement. They must of made it easier for increasing your brain percentage as I jumped from 52% to 63% in about 30 minutes of gameplay. It's not like I was doing so well in some of the catergories...

Oh, cool, I came here to see if anybody else noticed that it's definitely easier.

I jumped a whole 5% on a round where I had 1 A+, 1 A and like 2 C's and maybe a B or whatever. That would've been a 1% round before the update. Played again and scored worse, had a D in one category, and went up 3% which I believe used to be the maximum for an A+ round. Played again and scored horribly because I wasn't paying attention and I gained 2% in a round that would've been 0% before the patch.

I love it, now I'm finally going to get around to finishing this.
Wonder if they made the individual A+ tests easier too...

Totally agree. Those previous 1% gains were draining the life from me, which is why I had to put it down. Last achievement on 4/20/2008, yikes. These quicker jumps will keep my interest enough to finally attain the 100% brain usage, 100% completion, and then ... the world. =)

The round summaries are nice too; a great addition. Thanks for the much needed update.

Do things still look tiny on smaller TVs? I have a bigger TV now and can actually see the details, but back then I was squintin' hard.
