While in TEAM Battle 1 the other night I couldnt help but notice that when the match started, the enemy ESM would nose dive into the ground so he could respawn  at the other side. Thats just plain chknsht and weak..

Its all tacitical some people feel that they are out numbered when they start the game and see all thoes planes in front of em and feel they have no choice but to crash cause they are going to be shot down and some people think that even if they dont shoot em down they will be caught up in a dog fight and their team mates will be left out on the other side gettin killed with no esm so are you crashing cause u dont want to give the other team the first points or u crashing cause u want to get over to help out ur team mates out i  dont think its chknsht its just a way of playing the game

It's weak and cowardice. Blow a u-turn and beat feet back to your group. If you are the ESM pilot, then obviously you have evasion skill. Crashing at the start is weak, and is not tactical planning... it's just chknsht

My friend.. It takes a CROCK to crash their plane into the ground rather than fight his way back to the battle group. There is NO tactical signifigance... It is not a tactic at all. It's chknsht and WEAK.. Furthermore.. any squad that practices that tactic is.. in my Semi-skilled mind..a WEAK squad... Crashing at the start.... really??? Thats some noob sht.

Whatever the 'Tactic' is, or is not; here are the effects. When my ESM takes a nose dive, it leaves the middle of the map wide open. Which enables the other team to make it to our spawn point faster, furthermore, it makes it that much more difficult to SAAM the enemy ESM. Then we end up flying 10 min in circles around our own spawn point, and I end up getting spawn raped the rest of the match. Cause and effect. We have never practiced this 'Tactic' in Shadow Squad. Not only that Cranky, but we have sat up many a night chatting over such 'Tactics', watching the emeny ESM take a nose dive as I was SAAMing them. Lastly, we most recenently had long conversations about a former Shadow member emploring such 'Tactics'. Hoover I hope you are reading this, if this is where our sqaud is headed, then let me know.

I have read these post's and will call a team meeting to discuss the issue. I will not discuss squad matters or the integrity of any gamer in a forum but i assure you SHADOWxJIMBOB that i understand what you are saying and value your oppinion.

com on jimbob sounds like u hav got your nickers in a twist about something!!!!!! but..... just recently i was flying esm & I DID NOT take a nose dive instead i spent 5 mins dogfighting with 2 47's in the middle of the map while two saamers were getting raped over & over again.......maybe if i had employed this tactic things may hav been different.

I believe it was SAAM I AM that stated about 47 novice players, everyone else.... stop complaining, adapt and overcome.  sounds like good advice to me.... If it works it works ...... shot any marbles lately?

Has anyone thought, in the midst of this bickering, to dodge the SAAM?  it isnt impossible, you know.

as for me I revel in the fact that if I am the ESM to start off facing 7 people looking straight at me with one collective thought and that is to shoot my quantum singularity down. I fire what I can then scoot to high heaven and if I make it past the first volly then I have a chance to getting several before they get me. As for crashing to get an advantage...you suck as a sportsman in the game if you do this....................................................MAX

kill ratio for SAAMs is pretty high. when mixed with QAAMs it can be deadly.  You avoid both in different ways. I can't tell the difference between the two when I get the missle tones.  then get in a full room with a ton of missiles flying and I simply start looking for level 2 rooms so I can do what I came there to do.  Fly

saams are not impossible to dodge. after getting shot by enough of them you can distinguish the tone difference although it is tough sometimes you can tell who is shooting what at you.  keep your flight patterns very erratic when you hear that you are locked on to with the slow beep that progressivly gets faster that usually gives it away that it is a long range something that is being fired at you. thats where you adjust your flight pattern.  with a good team on your side or your own vigilance the saamer can be suppressed or it will have the highest score in the game.  i myself have nothing against anything anyone flys it keeps the game challenging if they want to crash at the beginning that is thier strategy.  i as an esm myself, befor the game even gives me control scan what im up against and choose my targets starting with the saamers right off the line then progress from their knowing that in about 8 to 10 seconds later that saam will reappear so i begin my search for him again befor he finds me so on so on then try my hardest to keep the battle on thier spawn point until the calvary arrives. sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt

I was in a room today when the ESM on the other team crashed right off the bat in the next match he did the same thing in the third match I went behind his respond and took him out as soon as he became visible...I have a new view on this tatic...I dont think it makes that much a differance in the outcome of the match. This is a game of matching witts like chess. What ever works for you but someone will be able to trump your move sooner or later...with a checkmate. This is my new name from KOG MAD MAX to MAD MAX RETURNS.....SEE YOU IN THE SKIES................MAX
