The Chessmaster games have always been quality. I think this is a stripped down version of their retail game. Expect good enough AI.

Im new to chess and this game does the job and also looks quite nice too. Only thing is there only seems options for timed games against the computer. I keep getting timed out even though im not taking that long thinking before i make my move. Any idea if I can select a game against the compter and set it to unlimted time? I choose 'classic game' and assume it's 'classic' as in no odd rules rather than there HAS to be a timer on it.

I dunno. Please help.
