I like Adept though they just *** all imo the Soldier is the best just because you can use all the diffrent weapons and you get heavy armor Beer [B] Did any one get to skip half the final boss fight via speech?

I didn't pick the Soldier just because it seems so boring and overdone Stick out tongue [:P]  Running around with guns and wearing heavy armor kinda takes away from the diversity of the gameplay and makes it play out more like an FPS and not its own unique game

Just my 2copper

Re: Best RPG
That's weird. I've tried twice now to play Mass Effect. I know how good it's supposed to be, I've heard all the acclaim and kudos.  Yet, both times, I got to the Citadel and lost interest while wandering around. Is that just a known slow spot that you have to force yourself to get through?    Edit: sorry about the bold, inadvertent.

If we knew what we were doing, it wouldn't be called research.

Re: Best RPG
Yeah those 30 minutes in the Citadel and some of Feros are pretty bad but really the rest of the game is a blast ive never had any trouble with.

Re: Best RPG
Yup its just like Dantoonie in KotOR, I had to force myself through it. Once you leave and get to explore its pretty awesome.

Yeah, I skipped the first fight. I went back and beat him later on, but now I just skip it every time.

The Citadel level is a necessary component to lay the background for Inter-galactic diplomacy. It's important to see exactly where humans stand in the universe amongst other alien species. There is actually alot to do there, but you don't have to do everything. You could skip most of the quests, or come back to them later. If you just stick to the main story you can leave the Citadel in 30-60 minutes of gameplay and start exploring other planets.

As you get deeper in the game you'll find the Citadel to be important in more climactic ways as well. Also, you will pick up 2 more allies for your party while you are there.

Sounds good! I still have Mass Effect to look forward to and will certainly play it one of these days. For now, I am playing Dead Space.  Dead Space is a scary space thriller from start to finish, is quite difficult, and has amazing graphics!
