Is there a good guide to getting the ultimate armor set? Is there somewhere good to farm the minions I need? It seems like the only way to get what I need is to repeatedly farm a few locations forever and that seems like it would get boring fast.

Anyone have any help?

Go into the arena in the tower, then challenge the large crab things (provided you have killed one during the game). Each arena kill gives you 3 color life for each minion. So this should help increase rapidly your minion count (I know still needs to go a bit, but "no sweat no gain..."). Goodluck

i agree, i did the same to farm minions in the arena to get life force
