Wired Microphone help
I've been using a wired microphone to play RB and Guitar Hero, but despite that it reads the headset as a mic, it doesn't register me singing. It's on and plugged in and everything. It only works when it feels like it, which is very rarely. What am I doing wrong?

Perhaps did not you silence your microphone?

I don't have a microphone, only a headset. It's very random on when it wants to work.

Re: Wired Microphone help
just checking, but the mic cannot be played on the same account as any other instrument..if you are trying to play guitar while singing, for example, the headset must be attached to a controller, and a secondary acccount, not straight into the guitar.

Other than that, the standard headsets that come with the 360 are designed to try to eliminate background noise//it could simply be that you aren't singing loud enough for the mic to pick up..try angling it towards your mouth a little more.

I only use the microphone because my headset is kinda iffy too.... I know you don't have one, but maybe you should invest in one? Dunno.
AND THE WALL WILL OOZE GREEN SLIME! .... no, wait. They always do that.
