is this achievement glitched or something because i know i've played well over 500. i checked guitar hero.com and it says i have more than 500, so what gives?

they have to be 500 ranked wins

Both the in game and website leaderboards are incorrect. The one on the website counts ranked matches, player matches, and local split screen matches. You are probably close, just keep playing best of 7 matches.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I figured the website was for ranked and player matches, but I don't remember doing very many player matches, and I have almost 600 wins. *shrugs* Maybe I'll get it someday. :P

Not to mention 90% of the people I play quit within the first 30 seconds of playing (Guitar Hero players are the biggest whiners). lol But does that still count as a win?

Quitting still counts as a win. I usually hope they quit so it's over faster, lol.

number of songs is irrelevant.

it's number of matches, so anything from 1 song to 7 still counts as a match

No, number of songs does matter. Win 4 out of 7 and you get 4 wins toward the achievement.

yeah just keep doing best out of 7 battle matches and you'll get it real quick

I can answer that it's certain. It's been confirmed by many people who have gotten it (including me).

So if I were to do a 7 song battle and the opponent left within the first song... Would that count as 4 wins or whatever it is... ?

That would be 1 win, since you only got through one song. In the opposite scenario, if you played all 7, one would get 4 wins and the other would get 3, toward the achievement. Hope that helps.

I still play Best of 7 Hard-Ranked Match so if you come across me good luck,i aint the best, im trying for my 500 still. =D
