Akuma
Anyone ever not use this guy online? 7 games played, 1 person plays as Donovan, all else are Akuma.

Fun.

The sad part about it is all the above mentioned are trash. When put up against Hsien-Ko Its good game :D

Re: Akuma
if your opponent gets enough blue or greens  and plays fast he would  stack them on lines 2 and 5 and wait for you to turn them into giant blocks(x').
in the right hands she can be very good but  if you don't bury your opponent fast  he will send back huge counter blocks and use the diamond to finish the job(or at least put you off for a while).
the others have their weakness too  but the above are most certainly not  "trash" .

Re: Akuma
it can be difficult to find people online for this like you do in games such as halo or gears of war since it does cost 1200 points and appeals to  a smaller crowd of players , most people show up in late hours(from my time zone at least).
and although this forum is more dead then a left for dead version for the ps3 there are allot of players playing this game  and  finding them is just a matter of finding the right hours to play.

Re: Akuma
Yeah it sucks, because I just got into this game and trying to play online is so hard. It's a super fun and addicting game to, lol. I'm not trying for the achievements more less just looking for someone else to play against. But if anyone wants go ahead and send me a F/R and we could play sometime.

Re: Akuma
There are a few that play regularly but most are high level players.  It would be very challenging to learn the game playing against these guys since matches are much shorter with the quick drop of the xbl version compared to the old psx or arcade version.  Beginners tend to get discouraged when they get beat down hard by high level players.  I don't blame them, it's hard to learn a game when you can never get to the diamond.

If you can find a few good players to buddy with and play regularly, who could maybe even teach you to play that would be great.  When you can't find anyone online to play, I'd suggest playing regular puzzle mode and try to shoot for beating the computer in under 40 seconds consistently.

You'll be dangerous in no time.

I just to look to play for fun. I'm not trying to smash anyone at the game, lol. I doubt I'm even that good at it anyways.

Re: Akuma
defconfrog you seem to play often wanna try a  match?
and if  this game was any more fun online i would buy a ps3 just so i can download it again and play the ps3 community(which i would eventually do anyway).
