I was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem that I'm having. Everytime I try to play an online match, it says that the server is temperarily unavailable. I'm wondering if they shut down the servers like on NBA Live 06. Just let me know. Thanks in advance.

ea sports shuts servers down. 2k sports leave them up forever. nhl and nfl 2k5 are awesome

I've been having the same problem for the last week. I just got the same so I can't say if it's been offline longer than that. I left a forum post at 2ksports, but no reply yet and it's been several days. I hope it's not shut down, I keep trying everyday! On the plus side, it's very easy to get some of the leaderboard achievements, it may be easier since the leaderboard is down.

I e-mailed 2ksports, and here is what I got back:

The servers for this game have been discontinued.

Technical Support"


So the servers are down, and so if you haven't gotten the online achievements, it appears that it is now impossible.
Lame.

Some online Achievements are still possible, but most are not.

i got the same 2k sports service is unavailiable, but i did a quick ranked match and played someone, so i guess its not totally down.
