Does anyone even think it's possible? I don't need to be knowledgable of the game to realise that 250,000 is a big ask, considering the highest on the leaderboard is around 60k last I checked...

 

But then, it took over a year for the first person to get Robotron Wave 100... Is this one of those games where someone will eventually get it? I guess this game has no where near the population Robotron had though...

Well Rodni I put it this way.  The highest last I checked is 88k.  I have 70k.  When I hit 70k I lost like 4 lives right there.  What is truly stupid about it is that once you hit the satellites at those higher waves.  They move as fast as you spaceship when it is full speed.  The problem is you hit them and you die before you hit full speed.  It completely sucks when your already going full speed and can't control yourself either.  It's possible.  I just don't know the strategy to doing it.  I know the asteroids regular stratregy but can't do it.

Anyone got the achievement yet guys? One of my friends can't get it and wants to know if anyone even has it yet.

Nope still 170k off.

That's a rather perfect order isn't it, not only was each game eliminated in order (all Asteroids before Deluxe), but it even goes up in number values of gamerscore, with Platinum being second to last for this reason. Oh, and it's really too bad it's all offline for no leaderboard score right...?

Yeah, it's a classic hacked gamercard, just ignore it, there's heaps of them now.

Looks like there's been a lot more hacking recently... 22 people above me in Gamerscore for Asteroids. Why do they even bother, they're gonna get branded cheater and gamerscore erased at some point. Hey Microsoft, maybe yould should run that cheater process once a month or something ?

250k in this game just seems impossible really for that last achievment in Deluxe. Having 200/200 in this game or the Platinum achievment is a real *Red Flag* for cheaters.

Anyway, yeah, I noticed when the first guy mentioned in the thread got it and more or less knew he'd hacked before I'd even seen his achievement list(s). Guess that comes after seeing it happen so many times.

I'm sure I saw someone flip Asteroids Deluxe on YouTube a while ago. I suppose, like Robotron and many others, that this version is harder than the Arcade original but even with that, why can't it happen? Go on BEM, you can do it!
