Why do the AI atvs get to cheat so mcuh?!?!?!?!

	So I am in the middle of a race...a couple of the AI atvs are slightly ahead of me...I use my nitro...and WOW...the atvs are STILL ahead of me matching my speed to a tee! WHAT GIVES!? Very poor game-manship; why do game developers insist on allowing the rubber-band effect?

	I've just completed the world tour and I did find the AI kinda all or nothing. the game is just alittle too random for my liking. found it quite easy once you know where the short cuts are aswell.
