Hopefully, we'll hear some more details about exactly what we can do with these apps. Surely, there has to be more. There just aren't that many people out there who don't have computers. If they have broadband connections for their XBox, they've got a computer. The only way this will be remotely interesting is if we can connect our gaming stats or accomplishments with the apps.
As for Twitter, I joined it as a joke and started posting inane crap......but then I ended up with 18 or so followers and suddenly, the novelty got old. FaceBook is bad enough, having to find out what time your so-called "friends" are brushing their teeth, but Twitter is even more banal.
