are we going to be able to play music from last fm while playing games?

idk but my guess is if were downloading a game or sumtin and itll take like an hour ull b able to turn on last.fm and listen to some tunes while its downloading..

Last.fm is what I will use the most! The ability to stream thousands of radio stations and music from your xbox is freakin AWSOME. You never know what you'll hear next, better then just pluggin your pre loaded MP3 player in and knowing every song thats going to play.

I'm doing the preview program, and so far it looks like you cannot do ANYTHING else while listening to Last.FM, which makes it just about useless.  You can't even browse the dashboard, let alone play games.  I've never used Last.FM before, and it does look interesting......but I'm not going to turn on my XBox just to use it as a music player.

i find last.fm kinda nifty since the computer is right next to the xbox so while im playing world of warcraft i can listen to radio that plays music i like on the surround and has pictures which i guess is a bit of a bonus

I can imagine it being cool if we were able to play a game and listen to Last.fm, but just to sit there listening to music?

Facebook is alright, but alot better on the PC. Twitter, meh, haven't used Twitter.

Hopefully, we'll hear some more details about exactly what we can do with these apps.  Surely, there has to be more.  There just aren't that many people out there who don't have computers.  If they have broadband connections for their XBox, they've got a computer.  The only way this will be remotely interesting is if we can connect our gaming stats or accomplishments with the apps.

As for Twitter, I joined it as a joke and started posting inane crap......but then I ended up with 18 or so followers and suddenly, the novelty got old.  FaceBook is bad enough, having to find out what time your so-called "friends" are brushing their teeth, but Twitter is even more banal.

Kinda sucks you cant use it while you play games but if you have friends round and argue about music (as me and my friends do) then its an easy way to shut everyone up plus you get to hear alot of new bands, its a good app they just need to make it so u can use it while playing games, obviously you cant play games online and downloads as you should all already know so last fm + online is out the window for the moment, but i have seen things about downloading songs from last.fm wich might mean for a small fee we can downloads a limited amount of songs to our xbox meaning we can play online and listen to music at the same time, Facebook kinda sucks no apps on it like mafia wars and farmville but as always with microsoft they are expanding the services available to us so who knows what might come out in the next few updates!!! for being free (basicly) and compared with other "next gen consoles" microsoft are still paving the way with features and turning the xbox into a a great gbame console w00t

I mean, sure if you have you're ipod plugged in or something,
but i'm thinking last.fm would be as if you're playing a game and can only play that.
