I first played this game about 2 years ago and got the glitch on the Hayes level where the dino gets stuck behind him. I just rented it again to take another crack at it. Still couldn't get passed it so I erased the game from my hard drive and tried to start from scratch but right after the movie cut seen I'm staring at a VENTURE sign on the ship. The voice audio seems to be out because I turned subtitles on and there's someone talking to me but I can't here them. I tried pushing every button on the controller and get no response. PLEASE HELP!!!

I know this is an ols post but.........

.....I would: delete game save file, clear cache, start over.

 

I have this same problem. I cleaned the disc, cleared the cache and game save and still cant get past the part where your looking at the name of the ship. Anyone have any other ideas?

There is a way to get this to work even if you used cheats.  I got it to work last night after reading some threads from 2005.  Here's what you do.  If you have any weapon besides the pistol, exit the game and from the cheat menu, enter KKtigun.  This will give you the pistol so that when you re-load the Hayes level, it will be equipped.  Load the game where you left off.  Then, swim across the river, kill the raptors with the pistol and go up to the platform.  Immediately, signal Hayes to throw you the Tommy Gun. 

At this point, the raptor that goes after Hayes still might get stuck behind the rock.  However, if you light a spear and throw it from the platform at the bushes blocking Hayes from getting out, he will say "Bullseye" and begin making his way down.  At this point he may stop right at the edge of the waterfall for a minute or two.  Simply go over to him and try talking to him and the cameraman and he will follow you to the door that needs opening, leaving the raptor stuck behind the rock forever.  Worked for me...

We already erased the file and cleared the cashe. There is no reloading the chapter.

I got this glitch aswell :(

I'll probably do the same thing.....delete game save etc, but i dont think its gunna help.  Should i just try going through without any cheats ?.

Just read my last post above.  That method worked for me twice.
