These are the only two original Xbox titles I've held onto, and even though TRANSWORLD SURF doesn't work on the 360, I'll never sell them. They were that good.
PLEASE UBISOFT...Do a version of this "Penquin Game" with real surfers and real locales.
I'll second that as I settle for snowboarding games for the time being. I suggested to Bongfish about making a surfing along the lines of Stoked. I think I planted the idea, but who knows if it will bear fruit. Go to Bongfish forum and find my thread about surfing title. Show interest. If they are to be convinced this would be good for the next project I think they will strongly consider it. Not Ubi, they did a horrible job on Surfriders. The only model game to really follow would be Championship Surfer. TW was nice for its time, but is stiff for manuvers nad tricks. I did not feel like I control of the board the way I wanted to. It was nice though that you could ride your wave all the way to the beach and paddle back to the line up. Some developement studio has got to realize nobody has taken another stab at the surfing genre since KSPS, and dam Slater for going along with TH mechanics on a surfboard. Its crap and does not work well. The wave system for that game on the other hand was the best hands down. I guess til enough people show interest in a sim surfing game we will be dreaming for one to be made
