It's right at a checkpoint, where there is a big red (security?) camera looking down at you, and the red light follows you when you move. I then jump to this big cylinder and catch the edge, you edge your way around to get three coins?>

 

What do I do? I've tried jumping from the furthest ledge from the platform, to the other cylinder, but I can't make it, it's pissing me off. I was making great time too, now I'm at 12 minutes.

I'd like an answer for this question too.  I can't jump from cylinder to cylinder as it suggests in the walkthrough.  I've tried everything I can think of.

Ok got it.  You can't try to do a double jump here.  You have to press and hold 'A'.
