Yours truly has made the call. These are really cool guys and they have our mind set 100% and we are all on the same page,and they have really liked what I have been doing with my support. It was an honor to speak to Tony who was part of best snowboard game ever made and Stoked is going to follow in its footsteps. I can guarantee that! So here it is in a nutshell. Everybody has to be patient, but I can tell you this is ONLY THE KICKOFF!!


Everything is going to take time, but guess I what I will "officially" be informed at whats going on. I'm about to go under a CONFIDENTIAL CONTRACT, which means, like I've told some of you before it can't be discussed at all! I will only say went over some of the notes and they already know about some and made great points on others. (will send the whole list for them to look at) I've all told you before they didn't get everything they wanted to in the first time. Do not give up on Stoked!!

There is so much more going forward. I pledged with our help we will keep taking steps forward with the progression of Stoked and never go backwards, like Amped 3 and SW did. So when I know. You will know whats going on. What I am not able to tell you. I WON'T and CAN'T, but know what I say is the truth, its no hype, no speculation. These guys know I favor nothing and am a straight shooter, tell it like it is, so there will be NO sugar coating of anything from me. If its right and works or if its wrong and bad I will make it known. NO BIAS period from me!


Things are about to get started and I'll probably have plenty to do, but I am your EARS where I will be in direct contact with the team at Destineer and will constantly relay things I read on the net about Stoked. We have forged a new foundation in gaming where fans work with developers in progression of series. If this is successful this trend will spread to other genre's of the industry. I've always dreamed of this..now I am IN!

OK... can someone please explain wtf is going on with this game... i have read that it's out, i have read that it's not out... i have read that StokEd DC is a completely new game... i have read that DC is DLC...

Someone please give me the straight answer on this... i have been chomping at the bit for a really good snowboarding game since amped 2 (amped 3 was ok, but it became a bit too over the top... i want something that feels like it was designed by people who actually snowboard). Been riding for 16 years, just moved back from Tahoe where i lived and taught lessons for 2 years, taken a Points North heli trip in the Chugach range in Alaska, so i think it's safe to say that i know what real snowboarding feels like and StokEd looks like what i have wanted for a long time, but now i don't even know what the hell is going on with it...

Someone must know what the hell is going on...

oh... and Rebel4Liberty... i mean no offence my friend, so please don't take this personally... but if you are going to be "official," at least proof your posts man... some of this was rather hard to get through...

I understand. I try my best, but I am not perfect at punctuation. Anything "official" won't be proofed by me, so you don't have to worry.

The only thing I will tell about DC, is what I have been saying all along. Its not a brand new game, its going to be like an expansion. Like EQOA did for Frontiers as their expansion to the original title but was a brand new disc and was not a patch to down load. Whats out now is the US release. What is still coming is the PAL release and AU. Does this give you an idea now?

yes... very much... going to go out and buy it tomorrow after work i think (too nice out today, the disc golf calls my name). So the DC is an expansion pack, but in disc form? I mean, i don't know the reasons the company could have for doing this... but it seems much more cost effective to release something like that as DLC... Unless DC can function on it's own as a game... just seems odd

I have kinda told you too much and actually I don't know for certain. I only "think" that what it might be and I could be wrong. When I know for sure and able to tell you for sure what it is, I will do so, but not till the time is right. Understand? Keep the faith, its only just getting started, and I do mean ONLY!

R4L ....  I have read your posts here, there ( bongfish forums ) and GameFaqs,  you ramble on in an excited school boy fashion but seriously man you are just sprouting a load of bull crap.   And to be brutally honest it is now a bit too old and borish,  I mean nothing & I mean absolutely nothing has come out of your ramblings.

The publisher of stoked, Destineer and makers Bongfish,  have pulled on the sausage all year long now and I for one am bloody well sick & tired of all the promises that amount to nothing but hot air.  Publishers/ game makers such as this that tease and talk themselves up without delivering need to be hounded out of the industry.

I know you may retort with another load of propaganda that " oh I cant say more,  NDA and all and,  hang on it will be very soon" .   Yeah, yeah, yeah .... wake up old boy !  you have been conned by Marketing people who want a vehicle for their hype.   Its an old trick to try and keep the fire burning of people they still want to try and fleece money off.  Unfortunately  though they burnt all their bridges earlier in the year with their stone faced arrogance in the face of scores of potential customers asking for information and being cold shouldered. 

I and many others have long memories and although I may come by this game 2nd hand or in a bargain bin eventually,  I will not give them any of my money ... they simply dont deserve it.  They had a chance long ago to keep faith with those like myself who followed this game and were all "stoked" for its release late last year and then into February 09.  But they went and dumped on us from a great height by releasing the game as US NTSC only,  ignoring the Tens of Thousands of Pal gamers.

Bongfish blamed Destineer,  who said nothing and now they want renewed faith ?!  No they can go and .$&* themselves with the blunt end of a snowboard.

I'm glad to get that off my chest as I am slow to get angered or annoyed but probably because this was such a wanted game I took it very personally ( and so did many others ) the contempt and disregard this company displayed. Maybe they will learn from it,  probably not judging by their extremely poor communication that continues to this day but whatever it should be a good lesson for the game buying public to show their displeasure by absolutely NOT supporting this game.

Very poor attempt to obfuscate the truth.  Stoked is not about me or even you for that matter.  Who the hell are you anyway ?  You are merely a fan of Stoked who happens to already have this game because you live in the U.S. ... well Hoo-Rar !  

The unorganised idiots who caused the mess around this snowboard games release should talk for themselves,  they dont need someone like you acting all high & mighty and then abusing me purely because you dont like me criticising them.

I and others I know may or may not buy this game when it finally if ever does release but it will have no reference  to you or any of the rubbish you pontificate about.  You have a skewed belief in your own self-importance and for some reason have taken it upon yourself to be the mouth-piece for Destineer and/or Bongfish ... that by  the way is to their detriment because you make them look more amateurish than they already are.

My personal appraisal is Stoked will fail miserably as it deserves too and the blame for that lies squarely at the feet of Destineer and Bongfish. No-one else.

Well I'm just going to be honest here...I like STOKED alot...I must've played that game for like 2 months straight when it came out! I'm still waiting for DLC....If it's taking this long for DLC to come out for Stoked....Then I pretty much think nothing is coming?

I believe the marketing and advertising for this game was VERY poorly excuted....Being the reason for lack of online players and game unit sales. Stoked DC?...An expansion pack?? I really don't know what to think?....This is/was probably the best snowboarding game Ive played....Little features in the game couldve been fixed....But as far as weather effects....Time of day, The look of the snow....The powder trails left with the board....The Helicopter views look like a Absinthe video you buy at Zumiez...I mean the intentions with this game were great!...

BUT the marketing and advertisment totally ruined this games popularity!! Not the lack of online game modes....

If this game does come out with DLC after almost a year after it was released....I think that's kind of ridiculous!

Most new games come out of the box with DLC....and keep pumping it out every couple months....AND make a sequal in the process.....

IF....That's IF Stoked DC comes out or DLC....Or whatever you want to call it.....I mean I'll buy it sure....But I'm done with getting excited and hyped up about it.....Because I've come to realize it's not around the corner or soon...

Totally agree with you there dude, I was well excited when I heard about this game, then it didn't even get released over here till this week, thats just taking the pi55, a hole year after the US release!!! well they definately won't be getting my money thats for sure!!
