Re: 4player=2 local + 2 online?

funny I was just coming on to these forums to express my displeasure with the lack of this feature.

I tried it last night with my wife.  We wanted to play against a friend of ours on live.  We were local, and he was on the internet.

When I hit the xbox live option it said there were two accounts signed on and only one of us could play, so we even had to sign the other person out to get into the game.  I then tried to sign back in after we created the room and had her invite me.  It sent the invite, but when I accepted, it would not let me join.  So sadly only one person can play.

I don't quite understand why.  I mean it makes sense in a game like uno or hold'em where you could see the cards, but what's the difference here?

So now we have to take turns playing online which is disappointing because that just means we won't really get to play against each other unless it is 1-1.

Where I find 360 stuff on sale

Re: 4player=2 local + 2 online?

To me it seems that MS wants anyone who is going to be playing on Live to have a XBL account, which means you have to pay for it, or use one of those 2 month free cards that come with games you buy in retail stores.

Try getting one of those cards and signing your wife up with a gamertag, and see if it works then.

I shot him everywhere he wasn't, and missed him everywhere he was.

Is there no guest option? Most games have it.

Me and my wife tried this also and we both have live accounts but it will not let both of us play this game on live on the same console....why not?
