Balance?
So this game being on Games on Demand has made me think about buying it. But is it balanced? Kane's Wrath wasn't and if it's not is there much point in bothering?

LOL If you think Kane's Wrath isn't balanced then you're gonna have a horrible time playing tibwars online. :P

It means you're gonna get; basecrawled scorpspammed shadow team rushed engineer glitched etc.. etc.. And not that it matters but I was top 100 when this game was at it's peak activity so I kinda know what I'm talking about.. :( KW is much better balanced (both eco and unit wise) and has 3 main factions and 6 splinter factions with more units to mix up the counters. It's not perfect and the different control scheme is a bit of getting used to. But it's a so much better RTS. You can even reverse move, force fire unlike Tibwars and tons more.

^ Basecrawling, scorpspamming, venom spamming, and T3 spamming were the only real strats I ever faced. One Nod player pulled off that MCV rush that was shown on one of the first episodes of Command School, but that was the only person I ever faced who didn't pull one of the above "strats".

Don't say it doesn't work because you can't learn a new one. I've been and am one of the best at TW and KW and can tell you you just have to get used to it. TW is more Macro then micro, KW is Micro'in your Macro.
